Highly Recommended 4/23/2011

I am thoroughly pleased with the paint job I got on my house. The team that Paint Boy sent out to do the work, Ventura and Javier, did a fantastic job on my home, and did it in the time frame they promised at the beginning of the project. They took alot of pride in their work and my home reaped the benefits. I selected Paint Boy after receiving several quotes and I made the best choice, hands down. I now no longer have the eyesore on the block, I now have the best looking house on the block. This company is highly recommended! more

Great job! 5/29/2010

We hired Paint Boy to do a light remodel on the interior of our house. Jereme provided a very detailed scope of work with his estimate and was willing to work with our many requests. The employees were all professional, timely and were very careful to block off each room to prevent the spread of drywall dust, etc. The tile work is amazing. We were very happy with the results and look forward to using them again on our next project. Pros: Fast, easy to work with & stays within budget more

Terrible work 2/24/2010

We were moving to a new condo in Long Beach from Oregon and wanted the condo painted completely before our furniture showed. So they had the run of the whole house unencumbered by furniture, pets or residents. We arrived back from Oregon expecting the job to be finished, it wasn't. The condo has plantation shutters in the living room and master bedroom, when we opened the shutters they hadn't painted the window jamb behind the shutters. Further inspection shows touch-up done with semi-gloss paint on flat paint. The real problem didn't show up for a few weeks. When we gave the job to Paint Boy we were told they would prime everything, a necessary step when painting of old oil based paints, that didn't happen. The paint is peeling in both bathrooms. I called Paint Boy with a complaint and they were supposed to come and inspect. Needless to say they were a no show and I'll have to look to other alternatives like the BBB and California Contractors Board. professional paint job 11/16/2009

My Mom had Paint Boy paint her house a little over eight years ago in Coto De Caza and she was very happy with the work and friendly service. It is a wood house with very little stucco and still looks great today, eight years later. I live in Santa Ana and could not find a nearby painter that had good references and a valid license so I called Paint Boy. To my surprise, not only did they take the job but they were better priced than the other bids I had gotten. They even used the same crew that painted my mom’s house. Best I Could Find 7/8/2009

Jereme James the owner came and did the estimate I could tell he has been around and knows every aspect of the job he is doing. I was amazed on what had to be done to get the job right but when it was done I was very very happy but more importantly my wife was very very happy. Now I am saving up so Paint Boy can do our kitchen cabinets and counters. Thank You Jereme Pros: Sincerely Interested in My Needs Very Helpful with Ideas Cons: Now my wife wants a New kitchen more

No worries!!!!! 5/19/2009

Finding a contractor I can trust to build my new kitchen and bathroom was very hard, we just acquired our home and I went through a different contractor to work on the upstairs from the recommendation that was made by my mother in law. We went through every problem you can think of with this guy, from not finishing on time to just not doing a great job period. I had heard of Paintboy before from a friend, and I should have listened. This friend of mine had her house painted interior and exterior plus had a new bathroom built. She was very happy with the outcome and gave me really good reference, so I finally gave Jereme James a call. Right from the start I knew that I was working with a professional. He knew the vision that I wanted for my kitchen and bathroom. From the time they started till they finish, I felt very relaxed because they take pride in their work and I knew that my kitchen will come out perfect. Martin and his crew came on time and cleaned up after themselves, I didn't have to follow them around to make sure that they where doing the job correctly. My over all recommendation for this company is a five star. They will also be doing my exterior and will be re-stuccoing my house this summer. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!! Pros: Great workers. more

Very good service!!!!!! 5/7/2009

Where to start. Before selecting Stucco Boy to sandblast, Paint, and re-stucco our home my husband and I interviewed several different companies . Stucco Boy was a little bit higher in cost however, there presentation was great, all there references checked out, and Jereme was great to work with. So we selected Paint Boy/Stucco Boy to do the work. My husband and I could not say enough good things about this company!!! Carlos the manager was always on time, extremely helpful and got the job done two days in head of schedule. Paint Boys forman Martin was clean and a perfectionist who re-painted eves because they did not look correct to him that I would have never noticed. The stucco crew was great and even made sure my dog had water while he was on other side of yard so they could work in his area. We would recommend Paint Boy to anyone and look forward on using them again on our kitchen remodel more

FIVE STAR SERVICE!!! 5/7/2009

I'll admit: I didn't get online just now to write a review of Paint Boy - I was actually just trying to find their contact information to setup an estimate for another job (we had the majority of our beach house painted by Paint Boy last January, but I seem to have misplaced their card.) Well, after jotting down the number, which I found on the Yahoo site, I glanced over some of the reviews ... most of which were spot-on with my experience: VERY pleased and eager to schedule the next step in making my home even more beautiful. But there was this one review that I had to turn my head at, it described a scene so unlike my experience with Paint Boy that it inspired me to take the few minutes nessisary to raise a glass to a truly fine company. I've worked with other constuction companies in the past - I've experienced firsthand poor craftsmanship and lack of hustle .. This is why I was so pleased with the service, price, and lasting resultes that I found with Paint Boy. They were SO MUCH BETTER. The forman, Carlos, was very friendly and accommodating. The crew was always on time, neat, and blasted through the job so fast that I hardly had the time to notice them .. I would recommend Paint Boy to anyone - in fact I've already sent two of my friends to them, and they haven't stopped talking about what they want done next .. ha! FIVE-STAR SERVICE !!! BEWARE!!!!!!stay away from these people. they are professional liars, deliver the poorest workmanship in town and extrememly unprofessional. you will be so very sorry you used them. im sure paintboy will find this review and follow it up with a string of rave reviews. beware. surprised they are even in business. Pros: nothing at all....nothing. Cons: terrible work, professional liars & shaddy characters, worst work in town more
