BEST PAIN CLINIC IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA 8/5/2008

I would like to comment on the excellent service that I have received from Georgia Pain Clinic, Marietta, GA. This is by far the best clinc that I have ever been to in my years of lookling for a Pain Specialist. From the service that I have received from the front door, nurses and the MD all the way to the exceptional wonderful servcie that I have received from the TRIAGE NURSE.\r \r I must comment though that honey knows her stuff. When ever I had a probelm with a proceudre I would call her and she would treat me with the up most respect and she knew what questions to ask and she handled my concern quickly and a timely manner. But to my dismay I have recently found out that, that TRIAGE NURSE is no longer there. Sorry, she was a great asset to this company, she new her STUFF. It's hard to find great customer service these days. I would recommend this clinic to anyone experiencing PAIN. Pros: Excellent cusotmer service, Medical Staff, Triage Nurse (Wonderful) Cons: Cost of Medical Records more

Best Doctor Ever Period 7/22/2008

After years of searching for an answer to my unbearable chronic pain, it was clear that my pain was caused from scarring caused from P.I.D. For years I did not want to resort to taking pain medication, but the pain was becoming too much and I just couldn't bear it anymore. Day late dollar short. After throwing prescriptions away for years it seemed that now I couldn't find a doctor to take my pain seriously. I even contemplated getting a hystarectamy, but my OBGYN required me to visit a therapist and a shrink before he would consider it because of my age (31) and the fact that I do not have children. They both told me that considering what I had been thru that any anxiety or depression I was feeling was normal. So back to the OBGYN he, however, put me off for a week and I was then told to go back to the shrink and was then recommended for intensive outpatient treatment. HELLO?? I have pain and even though I think everyone can benefit from counseling, this just wasn't the place or time. He had told me he would prescribe me pain medication if I followed thru, but when I called for a refill I was denied. WTF! \r \r So after an internet search I found a review for Dr. Rubin and scheduled an appointment. He was everything the first review promised and more. As a matter of fact I almost got teary eyed when I was in his office, because somewhere deep down inside I think that I had given up hope.\r \r I am happy to say that my pain is finally under control and the only thing I suffer from is just a little lack of confidence after going thru all of this and losing several jobs due to missed days and another I resigned because I just couldn't be up and around due to the pain.\r Pros: Caring Doctor and Nurses, Wait times and scheduling have improved Cons: The triage nurse doesn't seem to know what she is doing and is rude almost all the time. more

Turned me down cold 12/10/2007

Dr. Rubin may have been compassionate to myronsgirl1, but he turned me down without any explanation. I'm a 14-year Fibromyalgia patient who is in desperate need of a new doctor and I waited almost a week to find out that his office wouldn't even see me. He and his fellow physicians need to review their practice objective and goals. more

Compassionate Treatment for Chronic Pain! 1/31/2006

Jeffrey Rubin is an excellent & knowledgeable pain management physician who is adept at performing epidurals & other pain-relieving procedures. He is gentle, caring, compassionate & responsive. He listens to his patients & gives honest answers & explanations that make them feel like intelligent, involved participants in their healthcare & treatment. Too often, patients suffering with chronic pain are un-treated or under-treated after enduring the suspicion and disbelief of doctors who assume they are merely drug seeking addicts & liars. However, everyone I have dealt with at Georgia Pain Clinic has treated me with dignity & respect and they have effectively controlled my pain so I can have a life again! I would highly recommend Dr. Rubin & Georgia Pain Clinic to anyone who is suffering with chronic pain and needs a doctor who will listen, believe them, & actually do something to relieve their pain & suffering! Pros: Knowledgeable, Compassionate, Effective Cons: Waiting times, Automated Phones more
