Pages Books

I am a Pages Bookstore customer and have shopped there for eight years. I love shopping there because of the great selection to choose from. Lots and lots of really quality books, so you are getting a great bargain for the price. The best part is the store is so organized. I've never seen a used bookstore that organized. My hats off to the owner! If you can't find what you're looking for, the staff always knows whether or not it is available. If they don't have it, they gladly put you on a list and watch out for a copy. That's really great service! more

Pages is great, it has a good selection of books, nice people, generous trade policies and all the books are in good condition. If the the books aren't in good condition she doesn't take them. Ive shopped at the store for 16 years and they have been good people to work with. more

Pages Books defaces the bottom of their books with their ugly store stamp. I asked the owner about this and she said she does this so she doesn't buy back books she sold already. [Huh? If the book sold once, why wouldn't it sell again?] All I know is permanently stamping books like that is defacing them! I would buy lots of books there except for this despicable practice. A true book lover would NOT stamp books like this! Why not sell fruit or something else? I love books too much to bear seeing them be damaged by Pages Books. more

This store is great. It has plenty of used books and something for everyone. There are kids books, fiction, non fiction, self help, travel, cookbooks, spirituality, religion, paperbacks, hardbacks, you name it they have it. All at fantastic savings. You can bring your used books in and get credit for purchases at the store. You can even put your name on a list to have new releases held for you when they come in. The store will notify you and hold the book for you until you can get to the store and purchase it. I love this store, you can get books at a fraction of the list price and there is even an area for specially priced paperbacks that are not in the best shape but still very readable for around a dollar or so. What a great deal. There is also a resident cat that makes the place that much more homey. I highly recommend this store to any book lover! more

Features used books as well as some new products. In a bright new setting in Old Town Silverdale, upstairs from the Lighthouse Cafe & Wine Bar. Bring in your already-read, no-longer-want paperbacks, hardbacks, audio books. They'll look them over while you browse and pick those they can use (they're careful not to get too many of any one title, so don't be offended if they don't take all your books). You get 1/2 the cover price in credit, then can trade that toward your purchase of other books. You always end up paying something in cash, so it's not quite an even trade. more
