When you walk into the club you are greeted by very rude people. There’s usually an old lady who sits at the front where you swipe your card and she is usually on the phone. She will ignore you until her conversation is over then she will let you in. the place smells like mold and the indoor pools smell like urine. The bathrooms are disgusting and the showers are filthy. Nothing is changed or repaired at this place yet they want to charge a membership fee of $70 a month. On top of that, the club now charges $20 for a guest pass! They want guest to pay the twenty bucks because they know the guest won’t be back, but at least they will make some money off them. I WOULD NOT GO TO THAT PLACE EVEN IF MEMBERSHIP WAS FREE! they ahve really cleaned up their act. I look forward to workingout on the equipment and classes at least twice per week. Thie staff is professional and the members are incredibly friendly. alot of turn backs. I though this place would be better. The whole mats are old and torn so the owner hides the fault by placing a new sheet around. sortof like buying a new pillow case for a damaged pillow. anyway i do not recommend this place. They are money hungry people who do not care what you're doing as long as you pay up. so cruel so unprofessional. Cons: alot more

Ive been to several clubs as a female and just far this is the most harassment i have ever encountered with staff of a fitness club . The moment i stepped in the club i was starred at like a piece of meat i felt strange while giving a tour by a sales associate (M) with sexul comment on how my legs look and how full i seemed to be on top. Telling me that he was also a trainer and could assist me if needed. As afr as he looked couldve never tell . So off course the machine he choose to workout w me was the butt machine and inner leg and outer i told him no thank you for the butt machine but he persisted finally he decides to leave me alone gigling anyway i ended up getting a free month of course during the month the harassment continued until i finally got fed up and left never to come back again. Pros: it is a big alot of equipment and other activities to do like swiming and raquetball club personal trainer was very helpful Cons: sales membership staff more

I have been a member of many gyms in my many years on this planet...nothing compares to the Paerdegat Athletic Club...its one of those hidden treasures not too many people know about. Indoor and outdoor pools, 24 hour gym, basketball, racquetball, indoor track, hot tubs, steam and sauna rooms...its more than just a gym...\r \r They treat you like family over there...ask for my buddy Mike...tell him Trevor sent you...
