As a devoted Open Eye Cafe visitor (and coffee snob), I originally scoffed at the upscale-ish Padgett Station being added to the coffeshop-saturated Chapel Hill area. The first week I was a convert. Their coffee is top-notch, and the service is outstanding, something you won't find in the coffeehouses in this area. They serve a wide variety of organic and fair trade items, including wines, cheeses, and Belgian chocolates, and they donate a portion of their profits to worthy causes. It is probably due to the above items that they are slightly more expensive than other coffehouses around town, but they are well worth the minor cost.
Pros: Service, Espresso blends, Outside seating
Cons: Parking, Slightly higher cost
