I have been going to Pacific Tam for the last 14 years, I moved from MillValley 11 years ago to Novato and tried several different tanning salons all of which could not come close to the service and atmosphere that I was used to at Pacific Tan. Each room is unique in it's interior design and most important the fans on the beds are strong and always functional. I drive 20 minutes to go there and I will not go to any other tanning salon and believe me when I say I have tried at least 10 others! Its a great place to go for a good tan, a clean environment, & quality beds... what else do you really need? Not the cheapest, but cheap can also mean.... cheap results. more

Out of all the cities ive lived in, I never tan unless im home in marin at pacific tan. Such a clean, beautiful, and relaxing vibe. Amazing service and fabulous beds. Don't tan ANYWHERE else. more

Best Tanning Experience 5/1/2008

I have gone to Pacific Tan for approximately seven years and in that time I have always been satisfied with both the services provided and the friendly/knowledgeable staff. The place is always well maintained and with online booking for appointments it is easy to see what beds are available. Pros: Services/Staff/Ambiance Cons: N/A more

I have been going here for about 5 years and they consistently keep it very clean and current. Great staff, great beds - each time I go its a pleasure. Cons: Need a little more air conditioning on those hot summer days more

This is my first time message but pacific tan is worth it. Pacific tan serves as a relaxing way to look great. the service is friendly and you feel like they really appreciate your business. you a get a great tan for a great price. Its very comfortable and they make sure all your needs are met. The oxygen bar is a very nice touch, as well as the complimentary food and water. more

Pacific is a place where you can comfortably go and get a nice brown color. You feel at home because of both the staff and enviornment. Also to make you feel even better there is food and lotions which keeps you satisfied. I wouldn't recommend any other place. more

Hottest tanning salon in the bay area! 3/27/2008

I have been to many tanning salons in my life, but Pacific Tan is by far the best. The salon is immaculate-- I love the themed rooms. Request the Shangri-La when you go. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly-and they have student discounts for all of the students out there. Pros: clean, friendly staff, cool rooms, nice beds, good times tanning Cons: they can get busy, so sometimes you have to call and reserve a popular bed. more

Best Tanning Salon in California 3/7/2008

I love the spa like atmosphere. The staff is always helpful and the the beds are ALWAYS clean and the bulbs are ALWAYS new. Pacific Tan also has a great selection of tanning products so if I want to try something new, it is avail when I walk in. What tanning salons have details like Pac Tan? NONE! The cookies make my day and they have late hours which makes it easy to maintain that all year round glow. Great Salon 3/7/2008

I have been to several tanning salons in the Bay Area and Pacific Tan is by far the cleanest, classiest, most professional salon around. The staff is fantastic, both knowledgeable and friendly - the ambiance is soothing, the bulbs are new, and there are many different beds to choose from. I have been very happy being a client there and will continue to be for years to come! more

Impeccable Ambiance & Customer Service 7/2/2007

My first impression of any place is based on customer service, so when I called for a few questions, their knowledge, friendly tone, and willing attitude was a delightful surprise. Already, I was sold. Then, upon entering, receiving a tour, having the front desk attendant, Jessica, personally shake my hand and introduce herself, I knew I had found a gem of a tanning salon. The atmosphere of the salon is an experience in itself--looking more like a Las Vegas hotel with intricately decorated (and themed) rooms, than a regular old simple 'walk in, tan, walk out' tanning salon. Pacific Tan even offers complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water, cookies, and apples--not to mention any styling or hygiene products one may need after tanning. How cool is that? Pros: Prices, Staff, Decor, Hours, Flexibility, On-line appointment booking Cons: Not knowing about Pacific Tan sooner! more

This is unlike any other tanning salon I've ever been to. When you enter you feel like you've stepped into a spa. If you're looking for a relaxing escape from your busy day I highly recommend you call and book an appointment today. Ask about their theme rooms. My favorite is the Shangrila.
