Every time I go here for my bi-monthly shopping trip, I would go around to the side and get a dollars worth of fish balls. What I like about this place is not only the Ranch 99, but also the various restaurants (opening and closing) that I can choose from for a nice meal. Actually, I have never tried some of the places here, but having the option is nice. The little stores with the eye-candies and trinkets are great since they allow me about ten minutes to do nothing but kill time. I suspect that the candy from the candy store is REALLY OLD, but I would still buy them anyway (because I like candy) and it does taste good. more

The best thing about Pacific East Mall is the Ranch 99 Supermarket which is huge and has everything you can think of when it comes to food related items. There is also a Sheng Kee Bakery, and a few other gift shops, along with a string of restaurants of all Asian types. Daimo, across the parking lot has excellent Chinese food, and there is a Vietnamese pho place too. more

the pacific east mall is a big Asian mall, with a large grocery store that focuses on Asian food (ranch 99), several good restaurants of various Asian cuisine (Vietnamese, Chinese (Cantonese style and Taiwanese style), Thai, etch), gift shops, and other service shops like real estate and eyeglass shops. it's pretty neat because it's different from what you would think of as your typical mall. more
