Editorial review from Citysearch 10/5/2013

The dentist who has been working on my teeth is gentle and extremely knowledgeable. He explains everything 100% up front. The office staff is very kind and respectful. I feel very comfortable there. more

Though going to the dentist isn't my favorite, they really make it enjoyable. I look forward to seeing everyone here. more

Best dentist in california that I've been to 12/1/2011

I have panic attacks often when I visit doctors offices or dentists offices, but since I have been going to Pacific Dental to see Dr. Harmik, I have been able to manage them better. He does a great job calming me down and getting me relaxed so he can work on my teeth. Just the fact that he can talk down my panic attacks is the biggest reason why I continue to go and see him. - LQ more

Nice, Friendly, Helpful 11/23/2011

I really hate to leave the house, so Dr. Derhartounian really makes it easier for me to visit the dentist because of how nice and friendly he is. He always does a great job with my teeth, and everyone on his staff is fantastic. I think just creating a comfortable environment for me is the most important thing to get me to the dentist. - Tammy more

Down to earth 11/2/2011

The dentist is very down to earth, he is very nice and friendly, and he's a very social individual which puts me at ease. He does a very good job keeping my mouth healthy. I usually hate going to the dentist, but he is doing a good job and getting the job done, so I can stand it. - Henry more

Long Time Patient 10/25/2011

I think Dr. Derhartounian has done a fantastic job on my teeth. I've been a patient of his for the past 8 years, and I've built up a great relationship with everyone at his office. I am very comfortable going to Pacific Dental because of the people. The dentist is easy to talk to, which helps, and his staff is very friendly. The fact that I haven't been to another dentist in monterey park shows that he does good work. - Cynthia more

Fantastic 10/24/2011

My overall experience with the Pacific Dental Group, and Dr. Derhartounian specifically, has been very good. I am always very relaxed and at ease when he is working on my teeth. I think he is a good dentist who knows what he is doing. He has a great staff that is caring and willing to help whenever I need it. I have been going a couple of years, but he is much better than my previous dentist. - Sandra more

rip off - see yelp reviews 2/25/2011

see yelp! all of our experiences are the same. It cannot be a coincidence.\r \r my review from Yelp...\r My experience is almost verbatim with the story listed right below me by Pinky D. and that was a year ago! Even the $$$$ figure. What are the odds that we had the exact same experience and the same amount of work that needed to be done. They told me 16K worth of work needed to be done and that I had peridontal disease and that my insurance only covers 9K so my balance would be 6614 or 158/mo. They told me to apply for carecredit but i couldnt get approved for them to do the work.\r \r My mouth still aches and I am wondering what kind of insurance I have that doesnt pay for what I need? I tried to get the broken part of my tooth fixed to at least get that done and they said after the insurance i would owe them $950.00.\r \r I looked at our insurance benefits tonight and the amount that is my co-pay is so WAY BELOW what I was being quoted at the dental office.\r \r The doctor owns a Porsche that is parked in front, so maybe the review below about student loans and a car paynent is right on the money.\r \r Dont go unless you want to pay alot of money or get scared that your mouth is falling apart! I left there crying. more
