Been Using Pacc Since Their Opening Day 9/16/2010

I have been using PACC for what I'm guessing is about 20 years. I was there on opening day and I would never take my cars anywhere else, unless I was out of state. I pay AAA the premium service so if necessary I can have my car towed into PACC. I would and have referred my friends and relatives to PACC and no one else. The staff is very customer service friendly and Dan (the owner) is typically available to speak with anyone in person or on the phone. I have spent many an hour - by choice by the way with no where to be shuttled to, in the waiting room and listened to many a conversation between the Staff, Dan and many, many customers and have always been very impressed. I have been going to PACC no matter where my current residence is or was. Everywhere from the San Fernando Valley, to Acton to now the Antelope Valley. Basically - if you can get there - GO THERE - EVEN IF YOU HAVE A BIT OF DRIVE - IT'S MORE THAN WORTH IT. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. more

dishonest and a rip off 9/11/2010

I can't believe I am giving them even one star. Took my car there because I had heard good things. What a mistake. I ended up having to rent a car from Enterprise because the work was going to take a few days. No big deal. But when the job was done at Pacc auto they agreed to "take care of the rental car charge for me" and told me that I did not have to pay Enterprise....they would pay them and just charge me on the Pacc bill what i was going to pay Enterprise. Kinda like one stop shopping. This is what really was going on: Pacc charges me the enterprise rate and pays them at the "sweet deal" rate given to pacc; therefore, pacc makes a profit on the difference. Yes this was dishonest but it gets worse. Pacc ended up not paying enterprise timely and enterprise put a "ding" on MY RECORD with them ( which goes into some national data base by the way). I found out about this "ding" when I tried to rent with another company on vacation. Nice. That cost me alot of extra time and a near nervous breakdown when the manager told me that I have been declined a rental. It took about an hour of phone calls sitting in the manager's office trying to straighten it out. Here is another thing with Pacc. About 5 hours after i took my car in, Pacc called me and said that the car needed far more work than they had anticipated once they "got into the engine". BS. I ended up not electing all of the work that they insisted that i needed only to find out from another mechanic that the car did not need it. They are theives. DONT GO THERE. Don't be fooled by their nice, easy going ways. They are just as bad as the other rip off places. more

I have trusted the team at PACC Automotive with my entire family's cars since 1988. Dan and his team at PACC have integrity, manners and truly value their customers. I have referred countless friends to PACC, but the biggest testimonial I can provide is that I trust PACC to work on my teenage son's car. 20 Years of Great Service!! 3/3/2010

I have taken seven different cars over 20 years to PACC. They have gone out of their way to give me the best advice and service possible. I had the same situation with a transmission issue on a 2001 Odyssey as a previous reviewer. PACC worked with me and the dealer and I was able to get it repaired even though it had passed the 100,000 mile mark. I would only recommend someone I truly believe in. I do not hesitate to say PACC when friends need car repairs. Pros: Fair, Friendly, and Professional Cons: None more

Tired Of the dealers 3/2/2010

These guys have kept all of our vehicles running with no problems our 1990 honda civic had 360k on it when we sold it most of the service done buy Pacc.My 2004 Acura tsx has had all of its service done here and I always get great service .They listen and know my car better then me sure I can point out things but they take the time to make sure things are done correctly.Are they the cheapest in town probably not but those other places I would not trust to put air in my bicycle tires.Good honest and reliable thats what I think of these guys.Tired of the attitude at the dealer give these guys a shot you wont be dissapointed. I brought my car in to replace a $100 part. While they were replacing the part, they destroyed another part and the bill came to more than $500 and they refused to pay for it. Use these guys as a last resort. Pros: they have a shuttle van Cons: no responsibility for their actions more

This is to send my appreciation and deepest thanks to your staff. I was in for a transmission problem on my 2000 accord. Instead of charging me $3000 plus for a new transmission your staff took the time to look up the Honda policy for an extended warranty on my car. The local dealer has accepted responsibility and will be replacing the transmission at no cost. However, I will continue to bring you my business and certainly recommend you to others. thank you again. more

Pacc Auto came recommended by some locals in Valencia who knew of the place but had never gone there, but they were well known to specialize in hondas and have experience. Needless to say I did not enjoy the service I received there at all. I brought my car in for a timing belt and water pump change. They quoted me a fair price and I dropped my car there in confidence. They called me 30minutes before the scheduled pick up time that my car was ready and that they needed to charge me $150 more for replacing the engine gaskets which they already had gone ahead and done. Now one could see this as a "favor" but I was not to pleased. They have already charged me the labor to open up the engine to change the timing belt. Also one would ordinarily think that with experience they would know that the gaskets would ordinarily need to be changed, they did not even mention the possiblity of this earlier on. And a gasket costs $5-10 each. I asked and canoodled with them to please take off that charge and honor their quoted price and made the point that they can't just add charges up without counseling with me about it first. Now I am still doubting if they even did change the gaskets at all, because one year later I have a slow oil leak coming from the timing belt area. The whole experience left a bad feeling and I never want to go there again. So be forewarned if you are a educated consumer trying to get a good deal, learn more about your car and have good maintenance, then forget it. If you are coming in for convenient service and have deep pockets then go for it. they will probably not counsel you much on the state of your car and anything else that needs to be taken care of. They will be there to take your money when the next disaster hits. Pros: convenient, fast Cons: poor customer service and attention to details more
