Once owned by Milwaukee's king of beer Captain Frederick Pabst, the Pabst mansion was bought to be preserved in 1978. The tour of the mansion and its wonderful architecture and woodwork are simply amazing. I would suggest going on the behind the scenes tour so you can learn about other various Victorian customs also. more

Where Pabst Started 7/28/2005

The Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion needs to be on your *To Do* list for things to do in Milwaukee. Pabst Beer is an icon in Milwaukee and you can see the home of the founder of the now world famous brew. This beautiful home was built in 1893 and has been completely restored so that the visitors can see all the beauty in the beautiful woodwork, wrought iron and stained glass. This is an abosultely beautiful home. They have guided tours daily and are closed on holidays. more
