Love the old school way of they do things! Didn't try to up sell me like alot of companies do these days. They didnt try to trick me on the phone with differetn choices of materials- only 1 choice and that was 3M tint with lifetime warranty. After that did terrific work and were very professional. \r more

They came out on time and did a great job on the window tinting work on my car and my husbands truck. And they were very polite and curteous the whole time during the work. All the time they worked, they kept everything clean and did terrific work! more

I have no complaints at all about this company's work. Am completely satisfied with not only the work they did on my home, but my new VW Jetta too. \r The windows on my home and car look so good that you would think they came that way from the manufacterer. There were no large gaps, as I had noticed from a previous company. They were wonderful at being careful and considerate and clean. I almost forgot they were working on my home that day they were so quiet! I also like not only how professional they were, but also how kind. Doing everything I asked of them both times, I have no complaints whatsoever about this company- so I will give them a perfect score! more

i called captain tint on a friday. they said they would be out at 2. they made it, and pulled up outside early. the man came up to the door and was very polit. he then asked me what shade of tint i would like. i stayed with the lighter one on the whole car. he then started imediately unloading his equipment and working on the car. he worked non stop and fast. i think he finished in about...oh 2 hours i was surprised how fast he finished and at how well he did the work. i was even more surprised to see that it looked perfect! i think this company is awesome and now my boyfriend and all fo his friends want theres done also. totally satisfied! :) more

This company did a fantastic job on my daughters car 2 years ago, and now my truck. Her car still looks great, and my truck looks the same. I can see that they use good tint now. I always worry that some company would put another cheap tint on that goes bad. This is a company which is good overall, and that you can trust. more

they came and did our home last week. the head man had asked us if we would write a review, and so I decided to. I was hesitant for awhile, because of the water bubbles in the tint. but, I should have believed them when they told me that the bubbles would soon evaporate. well, they havent all evaporated yet, but I can tell that they will, as most of them are now gone. so...I am finally writing the review here. the back of our home was very hot last summer, as there are many windows back there- covering the whole back side. we were tired of the heat, and the ac bills, and so decided to use window tint as an answer to our problem. we also had a friend who told us of her success with it. we asked what company and she told us that it was captain tint window tinting. so, we called them, along with a few others. we went with them, because we saw there work on her house, plus we just had a good overall feeling about them. the tint looks like we thought it would, now that it's drying out well. even though its still wintertime, I can already tell that it will do a great job in the summer months for us. we went with a residential tint which was somewhat reflective, but not too much. Its good to see that our home looks like we thought that it would. I would tell someone to go with this type of tint, which blocks out about seventy percent of the heat. on the other hand, if you went with the darkest one and the most reflective, then it blocks out eighty five percent. depends on your home owners assocation and your own personal preferences. I would go with captain tint. they are a good company...working hard and using great tint. more

I went ahead and paid for my daughter to have the windows on her home tinted recently- I think we made a good decision in choosing this company to do the work. first, the guy was on time when he came out as we had asked them if they could be as we had an appointment to go to. All the time of the whole process of hiring him and during th job he was very polite. I know that she said that she felt very comfortable and not nervous at all- this is unusual for my daughter with contractors working. this makes me feel good....and, during the job they kept picking up as they went along. He put down quilts on the floor by the windows, so as to not get the carpet dirty or wet. Used shamees to catch water on the window sills. when he finished the job, everthing was as clean as when he came in. I know her windows were cleaner! lol Anyways, this company did a great job on everything and me and my daugther are totally content. more

I was very satisfied with my dealing with the company Captain Tint. We didn't know who to go with for the window tinting of our home windows here in Pearland. We called several companies, and they all came out and gave their bids and sales pitches. Some were ""slick talking"" salesmen, and others were right out of the auto shops. The guy from Captain Tint came out and right away we had a good feeling about him. He was down to earth, and we sensed that he was a good and honest man. Probably these things are what won us over more than anything else. Also worthy of mention was his knowledge of the various film brands and qualities. So, even though some of the other companies drove up in nice, fancy cars and fancy clothes- we liked they guy from Captain Tint the best. He also gave us a decent bid, and so after some deliberation, my husband and I decided to go along with them. He came out, and were on time, and very well organized. He worked really hard all day, with just a short break for lunch. He was very detailed in all of his work. All of the windows looked as if they came that way from the manufacturer....we were amazed. I could tell as I watched that he surely had twenty five years experience- like he had told us. I had also wondered if one man were enough to finish all of our windows in one day. I couldn't believe that he finished them all...and before 5! With the work all finished and dry, everything looks very nice. The lighting in the rooms is more pleasant, and the rooms are cooler where the sun comes in the most. Everything is just as he had told us it would be. I'm glad we chose them to do the work, and my husband and I both agree that they are the ones we will choose for all of our window tinting work from now on. more

This company is excellent in every aspect of the word! They have done work on both of our vehicles. They tinted the windows with a 3M brand tint with a lifetime factory backed warranty. They even came to our home and did the work right out of our garage! We really enjoyed that type of service, as my wife stays at home with our young children, and I'm at work most every day. Some of the reasons why we like them so much, and will continue to use them in the future are as follows: 1. Prompt and friendly customer relations. They were on time for both appointments....not a minute late! The guy was friendly, and everyone in the family enjoyed talking to him. It was nice to have a good feeling about the person who is in your home or garage doing work. 2. Professional. They were very professional on the phone whenever we called them. They called us back right away. Then, when they were here doing the work, they weren't noisy or disrespectful. He cleaned up everything after the job, and left our garage almost spotless. And, the way they spoke with us was very professional and courteous. 3. Excellent work! The tint on both cars was perfect- there wasn't the slightest little bubble or flaw in any of the windows. They did each vehicle in about 2 hours. They used a few techniques that really impressed me. This showed me that they take pride in their work and look for the best techniques available in their line of work. In conclusion, my wife and I are very, very content with the service and products this company uses. We will continue to use them for any future work. I had an aweful experience with this company. This company is not BBB registered. I have filed a complaint to try to resolve the damage the owner caused to my vehicle. Which at this point he told the BBB I was a terrorist. I did call and try to discuss the issue with the owner - there was no harrassment of any sort. This is a false outrageous claim from a business owner who will not take responsibilty for the damage he caused. The owner is extremely difficult to work with if you have any issues. Also beware - his warranty he gives out is NO GOOD. I had issues with my tint and he would not fix it - this was not even including the damage he caused to my vehicle. I am now having to go through small claims court to get my vehicle fixed for the scratch HE CAUSED!!!! 3M sent me to a preferred site which replaced tint. The owner there called 3M general manager to notify them the tint used by Captain Tint was absolutely not 3M - it was thin and cheap. You can verify my story by pulling Captain Tints BBB online file and contacting 3M to verify whether this is a 3M dealer. THE CHOICE IS YOURS - I am just trying to save others the grief I have encountered by using this company..... more
