Excellent certification 9/23/2011

When I met Megan, one of my friends from Miami, there was the time when I crossed in front of this hotel and I did not like it but this year, i was walking very near and I looked to my left and I really liked what I saw, they changed the front and when I went inside it would so beautiful and natural that I could not believe it! This hotel has many things that I did not see before, the suites and toilets have many devices to save water and energy and different materials are used to build things and furniture! I felt a very natural and cool air when I was there and that’s why I stayed there! This hotel deserves that excellent certification of being green! more

People were right!!!! 9/20/2011

Once, my brother’s friends were talking about this hotel after their trip to Miami last year and they were saying factual things that I could confirm with my sister who stayed there three months ago but I could not believe any of them because each person likes things in different ways and I knew that I had to go and check how close they were to my real taste. So, since I was planning my trip with my girl friend, I told her that we could stay for one night at this hotel and she agreed. My plan was to stay for one night and if I did not like it, well, chance the hotel. But we could not have a better chance in this hotel! The Clifton hotel besides it is cheap; it is an exactly sample of what people need on holiday! more

Very Nice Hotel, EcoFriendly 8/29/2011

My girlfriend and I chose this hotel because we've been trying to do our best with the environment. The room was very nice and the bathroom was outstanding. We had a very good experience with the staff, they did a great job helping us with directions and cool places to visit. The hotel is in an excellent location. The bad part is that there is a parking fee, and it's not cheap. more

Green Hotel in South Beach 8/9/2011

This is the best choice by far in south beach. We arrived very late but we called before to make sure that there wasn’t going to be any problem with that. The Hotel Staff was delightful, there could be so nice to you, it is just great after you just had to fight with half the people in an airport, so it’s just refreshing to find someone really willing to help you. So we got a room with a king bed which was very clean and it was just the perfect thing for a good night sleep after a heavy bad very bad trip. If you are a food lover you can walk like two blocks north and you will find the most wonderful restaurants in the area. The beach is two blocks away it’s just great. more

I was really surprised about the location, I thought it was incredible, you can walk anywhere, restaurants, bars, cafes, like every time you think about spending sometime in South Beach, you’ll think about all of this, and apart form that the beach is just so close. I didn’t like the small bathroom, but the shower was great. I think the hotel is great located, nice, clean (which is very important) and had very nice people at the front desk. Definitely a good choice. more

What I don’t like from hotel is that most of them waste energy, food, all things that human beings need now! When I decided to stay at this hotel, I was forced to do it, but then I started to check their processes and I got that energy use is also minimized via dimmable LED lighting, reflective roofing, and energy efficient windows. That’ excellent! more

I went to this place last year with my girlfriend, it is a tiny place, do not have showers, the massage was good but really I can not call this place SPA. If you want to have an spa experience please go to another place. more

We stayed for a couple nights at this newly refurbished (4million dollars we were told) and it show. !!!!! Bar on site, Pool, Great staff...anything you need or questions...they were there to help more

Dont pack towels for the beach 6/8/2010

Don’t pack towels for the beach because they give them to you in the hotel to take (that way you don’t have to repack sandy towels). And if you go during low season, ask for a room upgrade and they’ll most likely give you one if it’s available. more

The Clifton Hotel is a welcome addition to Miami Beach. One can mark off every 'yes' box when describing the hotel: chic, hip, great location, amenities (especially when paired with its sister hotels) AND the owners have gone to great lengths to offset their carbon footprint. It is the first eco-friendly hotel in South Beach! Noentheless, the guest does not sacrifice comfort and luxury in the name of helping our energy and environment.? more
