Although this restaurant has been a favorite of mine for many years, there have been a few changes internally that have caused me to think twice about retuning. Usually a night at Piola meant taking home leftovers, but now the portions have gotten so small that I'm left hungry by the end of the meal. \r
The bread is also served in brown bags plopped on your table with only a few slices inside. I know the economy has taken a toll on everyone, but it is so evident at this restaurant. In the past, Piola was a hotspot with a 15-20 minute wait minimum, now you can just walk in. \r
The food is still the same quality and great taste, so it's still worth going to.
