P J's College of Cosmetology

This place was awful. First of all it took four hours for a cut and color. FOUR HOURS! Then while she was cutting my hair it took me telling her three time that she was cutting my bangs to the wrong side. Finally when I got out of there I had my friend take a picture of the back of my head and found that she only cut one side of it and it was crocked and no where near what I asked for, the first time we called back the manager hung up on us. Finally he agreed to give me some of my money back(only $5) and I then had to go pay $24 for someone to fix it. Awful day all together. more

The students hate the school it wasn't a teacher in sight to help. The students curse on and argue. I ask to see a teacher and a teacher Lisa came out. She was so rude and didn't have a clue how to do hair. They must write their own reviews because I've never been to a place like this. more

I went to PJ's in plainfield and will never revisit again. It was in Dec I had an appt and still had to wait over an hour for service. The girl they stuck me with didn't no how to do ethic hair and neither did the white instructors. The student said they dnt teach that anymore because they fired the black teacher. Poor girl, poor me I will never return to that nasty white trashy school. more

I went to PJ's for ideas for my homecoming hair and it was so beautifuL!!! They did everything right and made me feel like a princess!!! lol!! Thanks PJs!!!! more

BEST SERVICE EVER! The students take their time they arn't trying to rush you out of their chair for the next client. My wife and I get pedicures at least once a month and we love it! Thanks to all Pj's staff and students.. see you in a couple weeks! more

Yes! This was a great experience! The PJ's Instructors were dynamic! They were motivators, coaches, mentors and our friends! If I were to choose a beauty school again, I would choose PJ's in Plainfield! Expand your mind through learning! Good job PJ's! I'm ready for a great career! more

The instructors can't even spell or pronounce words out of the books. The products were expired that come in the kits that you pay a fortune for. They are disrespectful to everyone and they all talk behind eachothers backs. Even the people in admissions..how immature is that? If you have class I woldn't go there.it' a place for dumb a** hoodrats that costs way too much. This school suks, the kits they issue out comes with expired and used products. They never have enough instructors, you just get slapped in a class with everybody else even though you're not on the same level. They always stick this elderly lady instructor with all the chores and they run over her all the time. The students there steal their asses off, so watch your stuff, they don't clean after themselves and they are disgusting. If the board of health walked in there 2day, they would definitely be SHUT DOWN. When you walk in there about enrollment, everybodies all nice and everything, but soon as they get your money, they treat you like s*#!......I regret giving them people my money, hell I didn't learn much. don't be fooled by their CRAPPY commercials because PJ's is nothing like that. by the way..they said I had 2 give a rating before I could post, I just put 1 star to get the system to put it through.
