I live in Pine Bluff and when I come to LR I like to go to the Oyster Bar. Food and service area great. Keep up the good work. I will support you.

good, but overpriced 8/9/2005

This is a well established neighborhood restaurant between Hillcrest and Capitol View in LR. The building is old. If you don't mind a little dirt on the floor, a little insulation hanging out of the ceiling, and you like good greasy seafood, this is your place. Everything on the menu is great. Peel and eat shrimp and oysters are fairly reasonably priced, but the catfish entrees will run about 10 bucks each. Beer is mostly domestic, but on tap. more

  • The Oyster Bar, open for business since 1975, is located in Little Rock's Historic Stifft Station/Hillcrest neighborhood. Our building was built in 1924 and once housed a neighborhood grocery store. Our legendary shrimp and gumbo is served in a family friendly, non-smoking environment. We also have a kids' menu and selections for non-seafood lovers.
