3.17.2010 After 15 years of Telephony experience, I found myself one of the long termed unemployed. Therefore, the Goal for me was to prepare myself for a better job, and not just to get a job! Oxford Institute of Technology offer the Guidance to navigate thought the maze of the One Stop Source Centers for career guidance and funding options. The suggestive career path was developed for me was Cisco’s VOIP Oxford offer me, up to date IT ( Cisco-CCNA/Cisco-Voice/CompTia A + )Training. I received the technical and educational opportunities I would not otherwise have. Giving me the measureable and differentiated skills, I needed. They have great instructors’, 2 where Cisco CCIE’s, One in Voice (CCVP/CCIE) the other, CCIE (Routing/Switching) You are only as good as your instructor are, they have 2 of the industry best. Clearly, if you bring desire, and some commitment in archiving your goals, they will supply the equipment and instructors’. I started going to this school about 3 years ago after having a bad experience at another school. This was when they were at their Woodland Hills office. I agree they could use more equipment, but I dont agree about the instructors. They do tell you when they have Fresh Coffee as most people who coming here are working professionals and can be a bit drained if you take the night courses so they try to keep you refreshed. I took several Microsoft and a Cisco class here, while already working in IT. My bosses comment to me was how impressed he was as well as the clients. Whether I was a good engineer before or bad, to hear this from clients and work was a nice thing. Pros: Very nice, smart, and care about progress Cons: small and needs more equipment more

I agree with fbustos about every word he mentions about this school. The worst experience for me EVER. The class rooms smells, the entire place smells like if you were in the alley with trash dumpters. All the teachers do is smoke and repeat everything. The labs never work cause they don't have the proper equipment. All their hardware is JUNK! Stay away from this bunch of losers. Cons: Waste of time , waste of money!! more

This is the worst the worst i've even seen and attended. This school is a JOKE, a Mickey school. The classrooms are small, the equipment is nasty , it looks like they picked up the equipment from goodwill. The chairs are all broken and the place stinks like someone took a dump and all over the place. The instructors don't know nothing,they spend most of their time SMOKING and the only thing they know how to say is ""THE COFFEE IS READY, FRESH COFFEE"". You are better off going to fryes and buying PC for Dummies than spending a damn nickle on these fools. They don't even have the equipment to practice the labs on the books, nothing works. Just buy the books yourself and follow the labs. i'm disgusted and wish them the worst of luck and hope it gets shut down, this rip off , no good ""school"". Pros: NOTHING Cons: WASTE OF TIME! more
