Ox Yoke Inn

The restaurant has wonderful food but I was told they did not have a child's menu to order from for smaller children. I had my granddaughter along and that presented a problem as she need a child's portion of ham. I ended up ordering an adult plate and sharing it with her. The prices are 16.95 a plate. They say they cater to families so should have a child's menu. more

The Ox Yoke Inn has been a part of my vocabulary since I was a little girl so it is only fitting that I thank them for all those wonderful meals I have eaten there by writing this review. The cuisine is served "ala' family style," which is to say the food is brought to the table and while you may get your chicken and dad gets his ham, the other food (ie: the mashed potatoes, corn and such) are placed in the center of the table and all enjoy the fare! This is a wonderful place to visit on any day but our family especially likes it to celebrate Mother's Day, Father's day or a special family gathering. We have had a lot of wonderful memories come from this restaurant.......check it out yourself, it is a memory waiting to happen! more

The OxYoke Restaurant in Amana Iowa is a great place to eat. Their Sunday Brunch is great with a large selection of food, you won't leave hungry. They have a large selection of breakfast items: Eggs, Bacon, etc. etc. The service is great and so is the atmosphere. If you have never been to the OxYoke Restaurant in Amana be sure to check it out, you won’t be disappointed. more
