Overbey Transmission repaired the transmissions for two of my vehicles. The work turned out better than I expected. I used them about three years ago, and I went back to them because they didn't take advantage of me. It would be stupid to go elsewhere. more

Overbey Transmission was actually recommended by another transmission company that didn't know how to do the job the way Overbey did. The customer service was really good, too. I think one of the guys was named Joe. He was a really nice guy with great management skills. more

Overbey Transmission did what I needed and what they said they would do. They fixed the leak in my transmission as quickly as they could. They didn't $@!#% me around or spend a lot of unnecessary time on things. more

The dudes at Overbey Transmission are awesome! They totally take care of you. They're very personable and they do a great job. They've done my truck four times already. I have a trucking business and I like knowing the people I'm working with on a person-to-person basis. They know me and they know I need my truck back right away. They're very conscientious about getting me in and out of there. They're good guys and they're fair about pricing as well. Friendly and trustworthy. 11/12/2013

The people at Overbey Transmission are very pleasant to deal with. They are very friendly and they always offer up information if I have a question. Sometimes they'll even volunteer some information, which puts my mind at ease. My most recent service was a transmission service and a computer program download, which was something they recommended that actually worked and saved me a lot of grief. I was getting ready to take my vehicle on a 3,000 mile journey and because of the new download, I didn't have to worry about it at all. I've been using their service for about five years. They do the job and I think they're very competent and know what they're talking about. I don't have to worry about them not performing how they say they will. more

I was referred to Overbey Transmission by a neighbor of theirs. I took my car in, then Scott called me with my diagnostics and told me exactly how much it would be. Everything was fixed, and I went to pick it up without any problems! more

unneccesarily removed transmission 8/13/2013

My son's transmission was removed for $450.00, to diagnosis the problem, then quoted 2300.00 for a used transmission (no warranty) and a new one for 2800.00. We went to another local transmission garage and without removing transmission was quoted 1800.00 for a rebuilt transmission with a warranty. Customers beware more

Overbey Transmission came highly recommended to me. They did eventually do some fine work for me, but I had an issue with their troubleshooting. When I first took it in, they didn't find the main problem, and it was really a loud, screaming problem! more

Quality service at a great price 7/22/2013

I needed transmission work done on my vehicle and took it to Overbey Transmission. They worked on it for 2 days, and now it runs perfectly! I was also totally pleased with the price. more

I have a Dodge Ram 4x4 diesel truck and the transmission was slipping in 2nd gear. I had them rebuild the whole thing and they did a good job. I had them do some upgrades so that it would be better than the original one. I think the price they gave me was fair. more

I've complained at least 3 times 3/30/2010

I've complained at least 3 times over the past year, but still I receive neighbors' mail and often find my mail setting out where the wind takes it, in our mailbox area. Some problems exist between non English speaking tenants, so this makes it extremely unsafe to rely on this office. All of our boxes are marked clearly, so I'm currently looking into legal action, but I'm not sure if they are required by law to care... Pros: none Cons: Disregard contacts more
