I don't do this often, though I feel a desire to do something positive for Over the Rainbow (Rainbow); as well, to help other parents seeking a school in the North Haven/Hamden area to save some time, as for us shopping an environment for our only child (a son, who started at Rainbow when he was barely 3 years old.\r \r In a matter of weeks, we were shifted from reticent to put our child into any larger group environment much less leave him for much of the day alone, into looking forward to drop him at 9 in the morning and pick him up at 5. This shift came from a combination of feeling completely confident and secure with our son at Rainbow and his looking forward to being there each day.\r \r First and foremost, Rainbow is owned and operated by a lovely caring couple who are as attentive to details as they are caring about quality. The school is continually clean, and by far the safest I visited between the manner of entry, video surveillance* of all rooms and grounds, setup, and layout more

Over the Rainbow Review 5/12/2010

My son who is about to turn 2 years in June, has been going to Over the Rainbow ever since he was 3 months! The staff there is the most caring and experienced I ever know; and they become much attached to the kids as the kids to them; I like the activities in which the kids get involved.\r I am pregnant with my second child now and we are definitely going to enroll the new baby in this great center.\r If you are on the search for a great place where to leave your kid and feel they are secure, this is the one! Just check them out! more

Over The Rainbow 11/6/2008

We have had three boys go through this facility and they are all much better off because of it. This is more than a daycare. It is a learning facility. They have activities such as dentist visits and fire engine visits. The staff is the most caring and talented you will find in the business.\r \r Having been with them for over ten years I can attest to their ability to teach right from wrong and good from bad. All three of our sons are doing better in their current grades and I am certain their experiences here are a major reason. \r \r They do not just babysit here like some of the big chains do. They take pride in their work and are genuinely concerned for the well being and future of every child that passes through their doors.\r \r I will never be able to thank them enough for their work and I strongly urge anyone to call them first and find out for yourself. more

Schools 11/13/2005

One of the main reasons that people look for schools is the level of education and care they are given. You also want to find somewhere that is convenient for you and your family. You will find them both here. The school is good and so are the teachers. They take the time to show you the curriculum that they will follow and allow you to see their facility before you decide to enroll. If you need to search for a school for your youngster, check them out. more
