Outreach ministries will never jam religion down anyone's throat. Quite the opposite, they are understand, gentle folks who work with the most difficult people - dually diagnosed mentally ill homeless folks who can't manage their own money. As assigned payees for social security benfits they patiently get folks housing and social support and get them off the streets.
This is the kind of work I can get behind. Unlike many of the payee programs. they have very few complaints and none that have ever been validated even though they are one of the oldest programs around.
This group is a 502(c)3 so not only are they helpful to the community, they could be be helpful to you at tax time!
