Hole in the wall kind of place, get take-out or have them deliver. Always crispy crust but not cracker-thin, a little chewy and not too much sauce. Sauce is tangy, not sweet, with a little spice to it. Sausage pizza is my husband's favorite, I alternate between eggplant & pepperoni or mushroom & pepperoni or ricotta & basil. Always a good smokey crust no matter what toppings. Toppings are just enough -- not overwhelming and not too sparse. Other good items are their grinders (hot subs) and the fried calamari. Salads are plentiful and crisp, though the antipasto was a little skimpy one time I tried it and fine the next. Greek salad was good but could have used a few more olives. Garlic ""knots"" (rolls) are definitely something your significant other needs to eat if you are, otherwise you'll knock them out with garlic breath! The garlic bread was nothing special, but the ""knots"" are freshly made rolls made from pizza dough, covered with garlic oil. Service is fast fast fast, and so is delivery. I can't comment on how Outpost compares to too many other Stamford area pizzas because once we tried theirs, we quit shopping around.
Pros: Fast service, fast delivery
Cons: Parking, ambience
