Great getaway! 11/30/2007

My family and I have stayed at the Outpost Motel in 2006, 2007 for the 4 Corners Motorcycle Rally on Labor Day weekend. The owners are friendly and eager to help. The rooms, although a little small for a party of 8, we made due. Daily house cleaning is a plus. You can take the short walk to the river for fishing, swimming or just relax on the deck and listen to the water run. This year they held a karaoke night which was very fun. The other guests we very friendly and they return yearly, as we will do. The only thing I would recommend is another BBQ grill. One isn't enough on a holiday weekend. more

Riverside location 6/2/2002

This little hotel and RV site is not much to look at--the rooms are very small, and sort of worn, but they're kept clean. The real treat about staying here (besides the bargain prices) is its proximity next to the river. There's a small deck overlooking the river--its the perfect spot for enjoying a brew after a long day of driving. And if you sit there long enough, you're bound to make the acquaintance of one of the folks staying at the RV park. Friendly little town with a lovely river--this is a great place to stop.
