If I only knew where I was taking my lovely white sweater to, I would have never taken it to this dry cleaners. Around June 9th, I took my white coat, black jacket and white sweater to this cleaners, because it was cheap to clean there. Don't buy into it.. the cheaper you pay, the more you lose. It took them a week to clean, first of all. Second, when I came to pick the things up, not only did they do a poor job cleaning the sweater, they also damaged it by trying to take off the spot. Nobody warned me that the spot that was already there would become bigger and more visible after the cleaning. I was shoked when I saw the spot. I could actually wear the sweater before, now with this big spot I couldn't wear it anymore. I told them that I need to talk to the supervisor. He wasn't available. He was never available, by the way. They asked me to come back in two days. When I came back, I had to fill out the form for reimbursment. The price I put on the form was $60, which was actually less than the real price. My husband bought it for me a year and a half ago from Banana Republics. Such a nice sweater cost probably $80 at that time. I was hoping to get at least $50. So, I left the store hoping that they would call me as they promised, but nobody called. I waited for 5 days and called them myself on Friday 25th. The lady on the phone said that there was no answer for me yet, please wait a little more. I reminded them to call me once the reimbursement is ready for pick up. She said she would. Nobody called again. When I called and said that I am really dissatified with the service and I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau, that same day, the lady called me to tell that the issue will be resolved soon. On Friday, I finally got a call from her again saying that the check is ready for pick up. It took them three weeks to issue the check. Today I went to pick up the check and what I got was $36. I could never imagine that service in America can be that BAD. This was unbelievable!!! Of course, I didn't take it. I called the manager, whose number I finally found out and I talked to him. He didn't apologize at all. He acted as if everything he had done was right. He said he would not pay me more, because this is how much the sweater costs right now and if I wanted to I could complain to the Better Business Bureau. He also didn't say goodbye, he just hang up on me. I have never had anything like this in my whole life. Being 8 months pregnant, I would say this was really rude and unfair to me. I am going to report this guy to the BBB.\r
If you ever think that the money you pay for your dry cleaning at this place is worth it, think it again! Think what kind of business people we are supporting by bringing our business to them. We should discontinue bad quality businesses around us so that better people have a chance to succeed in the market.
Pros: REALLY BAD AND IRRESPONSIBLE SERVICE
