I am new to bowhunting, and I spent the last few months shooting different bows to find the right bow for me. I shot many different bows at all of the pro shops in Dallas, Garland and Lewisville. Buying your first bow can be very confusing due to all of the opinions in the pro shops. After meeting Chuck and Bill for the first time, I knew exactly where I would be purchasing my bow. They were not partial to any brand or particular bow, and they were honest about the strengths and weaknesses of each bow. They set up the bow perfectly. I am amazed at my groupings after shooting my bow less than an hour. All of the other customers I talk to in the shop would not shop anywhere else. All in all, I am extremely happy with my choice to buy my bow from Chuck. more

When I walked into the store for the first time, I was greeted promptly and directed to the back of the store where Chuck was working with another customer.(He was actually working with a customer and working on another customers bow at the same time) Chuck greeted me and while continuing to work on everything he was already doing, I told him that I was interested in purchasing a bow and what I wanted to use the bow for. When he finished with the first customer, Chuck checked out my draw, informed me on what size I needed, and gave me insights as to which type of bow I should get. He was very knowledgable and put no pressure on me to buy anything so before I left, I ordered my new Matthews Reezen bow which was actually less expensive than what I was originally prepared to pay for my first bow. When my bow came in a couple of weeks later, the shop called me immediately and I went back to the store to pick it up. When I got there Chuck assembled my new bow for me and set it up with everything I would need to go bowhunting. He even set me up with the perfect arrows I would need starting out. After setting my bow up to me and making my new arrows, we moved to the practice range located in the store and he got me sighted in. It was a great experience purchasing my first bow from Chuck at the Outdoor Proshop. Since then I have been back to the store numerous times and everytime I have experienced the same professional service. Thanks Outdoor Pro Shop and thanks Chuck! more

I give this place 5 stars. Chuck was the only employee in the store and he helped me and three other shoppers. He set me up with a really nice recurve bow and six arrows. Even let me shoot the bow (on the indoor archery range) will I was looking at the different bows. more

Great place! Went everywhere in search of one, even as far as OK, and this is by far the best. He chose a nice beginner bow for only 100$ and let me try it and various others out, we ended up spending as much as we originally planned for just spending on the bow! Worst place I went was Bass Pro, they were horrible. more

The staff at Outdoor Pro Shop are great - extremely helpful even when it gets busy. Too bad other Sportsman mega-stores can't add an archery range for their customers to try out equipment and even just go shoot. Cabelas archery department and staff are horrible (just had to get that rant out). more

The lady in the front is very nice. I will go back, it's a good place that's close to home with a great selection of hard to find items. more

I had a Hoyt kids bow break. They took care of it very quickly. I have been there a number of times and would recommend them as a good place to purchase a bow. more
