So overrated 4/3/2006

I have never been happy with the food at Outback. People line up like it's so wonderful and it's hard to get a table. The food really isn't that good and it's way overpriced. Who can't cook a steak? You can get an excellent cut of meat at your local grocery store for much less than what you'd pay here and just make it at home. The last time I was here I ordered the rack of lamb and it was so dried out that I sent it back. i made the decision then that I won't be returning. more

So not impressed by Outback Steakhouse. Yeah, I know you should order steak when you go there. But what about those of us that don't want steak. They do not have alot of variety on the menu. I tried their onion blossom and did not find it was very good. The service was not very good either. Not impressed at all. more

Food is great but high end prices 9/28/2005

I must admit that I love Outback food. But the prices always put me off. The walkabout onion soup is the best I've ever eaten and I am a soup lover. The martinis really hit the spot but at $8+ for one it slows you down a little. Very busy and if you can do call ahead seating you'd better. Steaks are as good as any other steak house and the service is on the mark. Fun atmosphere and I would recommend but I'd warn you it will be more expensive than you were expecting. more
