The best thing about Outback is the food and atmosphere will be safe and consistent no matter which state you happen to find one. Large Quantites are depended upon to satisty those more interested in how much than how good. Pros: Consistent, Reasonable prices Cons: All the same more

Very Disappointing 5/31/2005

My dates steak was so well done it had to be returned....By the time they cooked her another I had finished my dinner. Even after the redu, steaks were of marginal quality. more

Outback?! Yuck! 3/11/2004

Their steaks are so overloaded with pepper and other seasonings that the flavor of the meat is obscured. If a steak needs that much added to it to make it ""palatable"", then I don't want it! Their fries are equally overloaded with salt. You can get the same quality of food a lot more cheaply by visiting a friend or relative who is a bad cook, and staying for dinner. more

When one goes to the Outback, there are no surprises. Steak: Tasty. Vegetables: Done just right. Service: Great and friendly. Obviously our favorite place to go. Pros: Dependable, Plentiful, Satisfying Cons: Busy, A little loud more

Why not McDonalds, too? 1/3/2003

How can a mass-market, fast food-type chain wind up on the top 10 list? What a sad commentary on the participants in your survey. Perhaps they don't realize that hamburger is chopped steak; I guess that is why McDonalds didn't make the top 10. They probably voted for Red Lobster and Long John Silver's in the top 10 list of seafood restaurants. more

Horrible Food 12/5/2002

I can't say it any other way. My ribs were dry and over cooked. Like they had been sitting in a warmer all day. My husbands prime rib had so much fat on it. When he cut the fat off, half the prime rib was gone. Go to Lawrys for the best prime rib. Pros: good for kids Cons: fatty prime rib, dry ribs, noisy more

I don't know how Outback made the top 10 Vegas Steakhouse list. Granted, they have good food, and it's a solid value, but the quality can't compare to that of Delmonico or the Palm. This place is best for those on a budget (or if you are bringing out the kids). Pros: cheap, the Bloomin Onion Cons: long waits, steak is subpar more
