OLOL is located in Port Wentworth across the street from the Savannah Sugar Refinery and nest to Port Wentworth school. The Church is over 50 years old. It is small but warm and friendly. This church was built for the Sugar Refinery workers when they left Louisiana to come and work here. There is a beautiful Grotto outside that was built by hand. The inside of the church is done in warm wood and is so cozy and peaceful. Father Michael Kavanaugh is the presiding priest, he is so good and gives the best homily. There is a great CCD program from pre-K thru high school and all the kids really enjoy this. The CCD program is run by Sister Georgette Cunnif who does a great job. You will feel like family when you come here. Mass is 6pm Sat nights and 9am on Sunday morning with CCD following mass from 10am to 11am. Any question just call the church secretary anytime between 10:30 and 2:30 and she will be glad to answer any questions.
