Every year my church, Saint Rocco's makes a pilgrimage to the shrine. We have mass, Breakfast, the rosary, lunch, do a little gift shop, light candles and such. They nuns serve great food and they are a delight to talk to. Some of the nuns I know because they came from my church and it's always a pleasure talking to them and remembering my CCD classes when I was a kid. You also get to experience the stations of the cross either in the church or in there beautiful outdoor grotto and trail. This is a great place to find peace and tranquility.
