OMG! Delicious! 7/9/2008

I don't usually write reviews, but this place is awesome! Probably the best asian food I've had in the midwest. I only gave 4 stars because they didn't have sticky rice which is a necessity for me and the service was a little rushed, otherwise - FANTASTIC. Yummy cocktails too! Pros: Delicious Everything! Cool place. Cons: Service, No Sticky Rice more

Great place to be yourself 6/18/2008

The food is great! It is not what I expected out of an Asian restaurant. The dishes are complex with different flavors complementing each other. A buddy of mine from New York came here with me one day and he was surprised that a restaurant of this caliber existed in Minnesota. He said this place could compete with any restaurant in New York. Pros: Great atmoshere, great food, great drinks more

Great Atmosphere! 6/5/2008

Great Atmosphere, Great Food 5/26/2008

I stop by Otho 2-3 times a week on average and I find the relaxed atmosphere extremely enjoyable. The bartenders are quick, responsive and aware. You'll never be waiting on a drink or be ignored at the bar. Customer service at Otho is very good. The wait staff are great, the service as a whole is very prompt and courteous. Pros: Food, Atmosphere & Ambience, Parking, Service, Customers Cons: Prices are a bit high, but still much cheaper than many downtown restaurants more

finally somewhere close 1/11/2008

So I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm for lunch. The relaxed ambiance was great for a mid afternoon quick bite to eat. It has a comfortable unassuming downtown vibe, which is rare when dining at a nice restaurant. Everything on the appetizer menu looked so unique that I had to order a couple items. It was just lunch so I didn't venture too far from my comfort zone...egg rolls and cream cheese puffs. I was pleasantly surprised with the spin on the traditional. The egg rolls had some type of mushroom that added a great new flavor and the puffs had a couple different cheeses and a fig?mmm. I went back for dinner that Saturday and the service was great again and I would suggest the juicy spicy chicken. One bad thing was I couldn?t try all the main dishes. Guess I?ll have to go back. Also, during dinner the dishes came out a bit fast after the apps but better than slow. more

Interesting idea for restaurant - worth a try 1/3/2008

We visited the restaurant for the first time on a blizzardy Minnesota weekend, and they were not busy at all. Very attractive ""street lounge"" that would be a good place for drinks. We ate in the dining room, a little too close to the kitchen. Normally, having a view of the kitchen is a good thing, but sitting next to it so that all I could look at was the kitchen seemed a little much. The menu was nice, very simple, and tactfully created to allow something for every taste, without seeming too overwhelming. Pros: Nice ambience everywhere but where we were seated (near kitchen) more
