Having long heard about Osman's (and finally locating it!) we had a fabulous meal at this little place. ""Little"" is the operative word here since the restaurant is in an old house. Seating is limited and reservations are an absolute requirement. The quality of the food was superior to anything we've ever had in Mobile. The meal began with a basket of dark, hefty European breads followed by the best escargot ever! The lamb and the veal chops were served ""frenched"", so dramatic! Nice mix of comlementary vegetables on the side. Portions were unbelievably generous!! The three of us each had an appetizer and entree, we shared a dessert because we had enough food left over for lunches the next day! The atmosphere was eclectic but intimate, food excellent, service good, price reasonable.
Pros: food, price
Cons: location!,
