This place is perfect. The only reason anyone should go here is to taste the food. The noodles are like nothing I have ever tasted. So full of flavor, and stretchy, which makes...

I don't know how authentic the ramen is but I think it's way over priced for ramen noodles and the service is aweful! I was barely aknowledged when I entered and I felt like was ...

Absolutely Must Try! 9/13/2004

It might be silly for me to admit, but the movie Tampopo, had me searching for a Ramen restaurant in Denver. What a find Oshima Ramen turned out to be.! Important note: my first bowl of Ramen (Chasiu with soy broth) was a disappointment. I attribute this to years of overly salty, packaged ramen tainting my notion of what this soup should be. Eager to try again, I ordered the Spicy Ramen and am now officially addicted. Discard any notions of what you think ramen should be, and you will be pleasantly suprised. Granted the prices are a little steep for a bowl of soup, but the ingredients are high quality and the portions are large. The service is tacitly friendly. Don't be intimidated by trying something new. Pros: Something Different, High Quality, Good Service more

More noodles, please! 10/13/2002

I love Oshima Ramen! We've been going there for only a year now, but I swear, it's addictive. My favorite is the Chashiu, with extra pieces of the tasty pork. my boyfriend is a seaffd lover and he raves abpout the Kaisen, with mussels and other fish. Oshima ramen is great. more

Lets Slurp some Noodles! 8/25/2002

A little bit of a drive for me but it offers a unique experience in Dever. An authentic Japanese soup house! All the serve at this small strip mall place is Ramen noodle soup. Get the idea of cup-o-noodles out of your head! This is ramen noodle soup the way it shoud be. The noodles are made fresh daily and served in several kinds of soup. The soups are made from flavorful broths and flavored with different ingredients, including a miso version. My favorite comes with slices of sashiu pork, a boiled egg, and bean sprouts. In the summer they offer a ramen noodle salad. Portions are huge. Also, a special bonus is the gyoza. Here they are small and plump, pan fried and have a sort of chewey/crunch quality that is unique from other gyoza I've had. I could get addicted to them if I came here too often! Pros: inexpensive, simple and health, large portions Cons: not much ambience, out of the way more
