worst food in the Valley 7/17/2009

The filet mignon was awful - not a good cut and well-done, not medium rare. Had run out of choices from the menu for several items. Our party's 2 other rib-eye steaks were only 1/2"" thick and cooked to smithereens - very well done - very tough - don't know what cut it was - mystery cut! Salad was adequate and creamed spinach was horribly over-salted. We were the only dinner customers there and I now know why. The price for the steaks was way up there and I would expect a $7 steak at Sizzler to be better! I warn you - don't go there! Pros: lovely restaurant decor Cons: all entrees horrid-couldn't pay me to go again-super pricey more

mid-town restaurant with jazz...it's about time 3/15/2007

as long as the new Oscar Taylor (O T) doesn't tranform into a Scottsdale hang out, it will be a great place for the 35+ crowd to gather. The menu is in transition, but decent and priced reasonably. Some of the long time wait staff and bartendars (who knew you by your first name) have changed, (bad move). And, the newbies are acting like newbies (the downside to change)...but, it does have potential. We'd stop back again in the evening. Lunch is a better bet so far for convenience, menu and price. more
