Ortiz Pools

I cannot speak directly about there quality because we didnt end up building a pool but I can tell you they are not in the business to rip you off. My wife and I gave Pete a check to start out pool. He had already begun doing some of the initial things to get our drawings to the loan officer and the HOA. I called him and told him that we were going to have to hold off on the pool at this point in time. He completely understood and gave me a full refund of the deposit that I put down. \r \r However from a quallity stand point I called 75% of his references that he gives you when he comes out to quote your pool. Everyone that I talked to highly recommened him and some of the people had even built mulitiple pools with the Ortiz Family. One of his references was another pool builder who used them as a subcontractor.\r \r If you are thinking about building a pool I would highly recommend at least giving the Ortiz Family the opprotunity to give you a bid. He was very honest and upfront about certain features on the pool that other companies were trying to push and I confirmed what he told me on several forums which would have cost alot more to do.\r \r All in All you dont have a company that is in business for over 40 years only out to rip you off. The other person who posted must have either not taken advice of Pete or never called to have the things fixed. more

They promise you everything and deliver about an 1/8th of it. And break things in the process and don't make good on their repairs. But worst of all their word is not their bond. Will not return phone calls. If I could give them a negative rating I would. \r \r Buyer beware - they are in it to rip you off. We learned it the hard way. more

Ortiz Pools did an outstanding job for us. Marcus is so good and knows what he is doing- If you need someone to come in and take over- this is your builder. This is a family run business and they care about their clients- Ralph was excellent with the tile and stone work- Pete is always on call- and the other brothers & cousins are very polite, caring and overall just a great experience. We would recommend them deinitely. This is a great family and they do great work. more
