Great off the strip location 3/5/2006

This is my favorite Las Vegas hotel to stay in. The atmosphere is fun, but it is off the strip- which I prefer. I love to visit the strip, but hate the prices and the crowds. The Orleans has everything you could want including a large poker room, a bowling ally and a movie theater. The service is warm and I've won more here then any other casino. Many locals visit this casino, which usually speaks volumes. The price is usually under $80 a room (off peak) and they feature many deals. Ask for a room with a view of the strip- it makes the visit that much more special. more

    The theme here is Mardi Gras, Louisiana style, but the atmosphere is not rowdy. That's just fine by locals, who are the Orleans' primary market and enjoy the conveniences the casino offers. Gaming is up-to-the-minute, with all the favorite card games and latest slots available, as well as table games, keno and an excellent poker room. Live entertainment at the small Orleans showroom has been consistently top-notch. In the warmer months, the casino hosts parties by the pool.
