Original Roadhouse Grill

The Roadhouse Grill chain has been alive and well in the west coast for quite some time now, but what some folks fail to remember is that they also have great steaks too. Sure, its a franchise and yes, it is spendy for Salem standards, but its still a place that is like no other in the area. The service has always been festive and fun, attentive and friendly. Prices are a tad up there, there might be other steakhouses that have cheaper prices and possibly better food. But the experience here at Roadhouse is worth the fun if you're in the mood for some franchise food and some very tasty steak. This place is lots of fun and has great food. My family went here recently with a large group and they were great. The food was very good, though a bit pricy. Drinks came in jars, the lemonade is excellent. Our waitress was on top of it for the most part. In the end, everyone left full and happy, and only a few peanut throwing mishaps occured. Hearty portions, great steak,ribs and salads. You won't be disappointed in the drinks either. You definitly get you moneys worth. The only problem is that is gets very busy, so plan on waiting a good 30. - 60. min. at night. Pros: excellent food, good drinks, huge portions Cons: busy, have to wait in line, not much parking more
