If you like soggy pancakes and way overcooked omelettes then this is the place for you, no syrup on table...

Best Breakfast on the East Side 10/9/2006

If you ever find yourself hungry in the morning on the east side of Metro Detroit, I advise you check out the Original Pancake House on Mack Ave. Hopefully, it's not a Saturday or Sunday morning though because this place is usually packed then. They have decent coffee, amazing pancakes, and good prices. The waitstaff is pretty standard for a pancake place and the decor is very "Grosse Pointey". You won't find a better breakfast anywhere else on the east side of town. I recommend the Blueberry Pancakes. more
