My husband and I visited Orient Garden for the first time tonight. We ordered two seafood appetizers and one vegetable main dish to share. The seafood - shrimp, scallops and calamari - was cooked perfectly, done but not chewy. The vegetable dish had tofu in it and, like the seafood, the tofu was thoroughly cooked, but not overcooked, neither mushy nor spongy. The soup and main dish had nice, crispy fresh vegetables. Everything was tasty. The service was a little slow, but at least the waiter brought the dishes out one at a time so that we had time to savor each one before digging into the next one.\r

The atmosphere was cozy in spite of it being a pretty large place, although we thought the temperature was a little too warm. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed, but we got seated right away. We definitely plan to return the next time we're craving Chinese.
Pros: reasonable prices, comfortable atmosphere
Cons: slow service
