Wish it were spicier 11/20/2010

The lunch buffet's are good here. But I'm disappointed with the food not being very spicy. Indian food is supposed to be spicy!! I liked Swagath a lot when I first started going there for the lunch buffet's, but then I discovered Chennai Masala in Tanasbourne. Chennai Masala is better in my opinion because the food is spicier. :) more

The lunch buffet's are good here. But I'm disappointed with the food not being very spicy. Indian food is supposed to be spicy!! I love going to Swagat's. I definatly recommend the lunch buffet. They have a large selection and I love the tandoori chicken. You get a bang for your buck more

This is a good family and neighborhood restaruant. The Indian food is good. I recommend the lunch buffet as well as the dinner full service meal. The service has always been bood. more

Good Buffet 1/16/2010

Swagat has a great lunch buffet. Their dinners are a little on the pricy side. I like the buffet because there is always something new to try. The decor is breathtaking. There is quite a crowd at lunchtime, so I hope that means they will be in business for a long time. more

Nice atmoshpere, good food. 1/15/2010

Definitely a great place if you are looking for ambiance. The food is also solidly good, mostly North Indian restaurant staples. It's a beautiful restaurant, but you do pay for it. With the exception of the lunch buffet, it's not cheap. more

Swagath Indian Cuisine is yummy 10/18/2009

We have always enjoyed eating here. One time the food was super spicy, but I think they had subsitute cook. Otherwise, supreme. I highly recommend, the atmosphere is lovely. more

Delicious Indian food in Orenco! 10/13/2009

We have had their lunch buffet on multiple occasions and always leave very full and very happy. Great price for amazing food. Wait staff has always been very slow and unimpressive, but the food more than makes up for it. more

Swagat's lunch buffet rules! It's always plentiful and varied. I've eaten at the one in Beaverton and the one in Northwest Portland. They're both good, but I think the one in Beaverton is spicier... and I like spicy! Pros: Great Lunch Buffet Cons: Pricey dinner! more

Good Indian Food, Nice Atmosphere 4/18/2009

My boyfriend and I live in West Linn and drive all the way to Hillsboro to go to THIS Swagat. The food has always been good, it has the atmosphere sorely lacked by the one on 109th and is overall a much better experience. This restaurant has also never been busy when we've gone to eat at peak times (Friday/Saturday nights) so we are always seated and served very quickly. Totally worth the drive. Pros: Service, not busy, parking Cons: Location more
