Loved my hair!! 2/6/2009

I had my hair done at this beautiful salon. I was looking for a great hair dresser for a long time. It is so hard for me to find right person who can perform great job on my Asian thick / tough / straight hair... Long time ago, I was told by my friend that I should try Juneka to get my hair done. But at the time Juneka was working in Portland and I had a little baby and lived in Beaverton... I called my friend again to ask if she knows someone else to do my hair in Beaverton. Then I found out Juneka is now working at the Grand spasalon! I made appointment with her right after my friend told me. Luckily, she had opening and I could come in on the same day when I really wanted to get my hair done. Thank you!! I loved the spa. It is a beautiful and quiet. She took time for me and did great job. I got good complements from my husband. I'm coming back again. Pros: I loved everything. It's beautiful!! Cons: I can't think of any... more

Best waxing service and great customer care! 2/3/2009

First off I don't normally write reviews but the service I received was so far above standards that I had to rave! Hannah provided the best waxing services ever! My eyebrows turned out so great and pain was so minimal that I even went back the next day for more and took my fiance for a facial. It is hard to get him to go to spas but he really enjoyed. Hannah treated him very well and his pores are so clear. I also decided to get an eyebrow tint and I am so glad I did, it made such a big difference and she did the perfect tint. The Grand Salon Spa is so lucky to have her! The location is great and the building is beautiful: you would never guess that this hidden gem would be in downtown Beaverton. Everything was so clean and they have created such a great atmosphere. Everyone I met there was so nice and friendly. I have no complaints. If I could give this spa a ten I would! I can't not wait to try more services including the chocolate body treatment. Thank you Hannah and the rest of the employees for being so extraordinary! Pros: wonderful employees, waxing services (from Hannah), atmosphere, relaxing, parking, friendly, perfect! Cons: I can't think of any! more

painful 1/17/2009

I received a massage that was anything but therapeutic. There was no easing into the muscles to prepare them for deep tissue work, and sometimes it didn't actually flow with the muscle (which I have been educated about through my work) structure at all. I felt as though I was in a car accident the next day. I should have said stop but didn't want to offend. I would like to save other people from the same experience. more

RUN, don't walk to The Grand Salon Spa for a luxurious afternoon of personal pampering! I LOVE the sophisticated, European-style interior, so soothing and far-removed from the bustle of the city! There are large windows offering natural lighting for the hair stylists and several quiet inner sanctums for a variety of spa treatments guaranteed to refresh the spirit, calm the mind and MAKE YOU POSITIVELY GORGEOUS!!! I was suffering from the 'extreme hair blahs' when I came to see Miranda. She graciously met me first for a complimentary hour long consultation where I shared my haircut magazines with her and a vague idea of what I hoped for. Miranda was kind, yet firm, advising me on what I COULD do and what was simply a NO-NO! She helped me choose what cut would best suit me, based on the time I wanted to spend on it every day, my personality, my job and my personal style. On the day I returned for "THE BIG CUT", I felt so comfortable in her capable hands, I hardly looked up until it was done! And, WOW, what a difference! It has been 3 weeks and I STILL look in the mirror every day and say to myself..."Yeah, baby!" I went from a plain, chin length bob to a pixie-ish cut and I am SO thrilled with my own 'signature' hairstyle! I continually get stopped on the street by women who want to know "Who does your hair?" Miranda and the Grand Salon Spa is on my speed dial! Go see her and she'll be on yours, too! Pros: A Lush Spa Experience without going Downtown Cons: NONE! more

It is great to find a wonderful spa in Beaverton! I received, ultrasonic microermabrasion, I feel and look great people are just amazed at the results. My face is soft and bright it took years off my face. then I had brow way tint, eye lashes tint its great work, service is personal and excellent care. I highly recommend the Grand Salon Spa for what ever your needs are. Thank you again for opening your Grand Salon Spa! more

To enter The Grand SalonSpa is a step into anothr world of tranquility, beauty and grace. The services I've received, ultrasonic microermabrasion and permanent makeup has enhanced my looks to the point people ask "What have you done?" I highly recommend the Grand SalonSpa for spa services. To know there is a salon and spa where I can receive all of my services and purchase my products at one place is very important for my busy lifestyle more

Experience a mini vacation 9/20/2008

You must have a brow wax here! It is more like a piece of art than a service and every time I have a pedicure I have the urge to wear sandals even in the Winter!! Pros: atmosphere, parking, available appointments Cons: none more

Good Spa 9/19/2008

I really love the looks and feel of this place...very quiet and serene. The Employees are also very friendly! I have been getting laser hair removal, and am not totally pleased with the results though. I thought by now I would be nearly through, seeing as i had 6 treatments prior to coming here, but the area still looks about the same to me... Also, I will not get a pedicure here again, I paid a lot of money for one. I did not get a buff, cuticles cut, heels scrubbed or a foot massage with it. The massage, facial, body wrap and capsule treatment (for cellulite) I recieved were all excellent! One last thing I reccomend, is to pay for all treatments up front with your card, check or cash. I put a few hundred dollars down on an account that has gotten all screwed up and has been hard to figure out. Over all I really am glad for finding this place in my area, I just wish it was a little more in order, a little less pricey and that they had a better hair laser. Pros: the lighting, the friendliness, most of the services, the beauty, the quietness, the parking Cons: The pricing, the organization of accounts, and a couple of services more

Best Salon in the Portland area 8/29/2008

Without a doubt The Grand Salonspa is the premier spa in the Portland area. Maybe even in the entire Pacific Northwest. I love the relaxing, yet professional atmosphere where I was treated like royalty. The spa is absolutly beautiful, from the very cool fountain to the the soft music and low lighting. I will definitely be back for more! Pros: The atmosphere, easy to find, and parking is great. Cons: There are no cons! more

Awesome day at the Spa 8/28/2008

I came to get my hair cut and colored by Jes and it was great! She made me feel so awesome! my hair turned out amazing! It looks better now then it has been in years :) I was very happy with everything. Also I got my nails done by Katie, I got a pedicure, which was perfect! I haven't had one before and it felt so good. Then after the pedicure I got a manicure, it was also really great. I left feeling very pampered and nice. Right from the start I was welcomed with smiling faces and great attitudes. I was offered water, coffee, tea, or wine (which is good!) while I was waiting and the wait was not long at all, Jes was right out to get me and then I got to go straight to Katie. So it was by far the best experience I've had in a long time. I would HIGHLY recommended going to get services done here! They have a fabulous spa area as well! I actually have scheduled a massage and a facial next week! Pros: Great service, timely, great atmosphere more

This is the most beautiful spa I have ever been to. I felt like I was on vacation the moment I walked in the door. What a way to relax and enjoy the day. They treated me like 'queen for a day.' I needed a good hairstylist and a friend refered me to Dawn at The Grand Salon. I had a great experience! The place is beautiful, everyone was wonderfully friendly. Donna is the Best! 5/1/2008

I have been seeing Donna for five years now to do my brows. She is a perfectionist and makes me look like a million bucks again! Her new spa is lovely, the gals are very sweet and always eager to please. I recently treated my employees to a "Spa day" that included a massage, facial, and pedicure. Each experience was wonderful and relaxing for all of us. I highly recommend the Spa to anyone who needs a treat for themselves. Pros: Lots of parking, easy to get appointments quickly Cons: Spendy, but worth it more

Slow Service & Expensive for what you get 2/10/2008

My friends and I decided to do a birthday pedicure here. We booked well in advance. We had an appointment for 1:30 and they did not take us until 2:00. They charge $40. and $55. for pedicures that don't include anything special. 2 of us had to share the same pedicurist. The spa looks good, but at these prices and services I won't be back.
