Its a big fat train converted into a restaurant with subpar service and a wannabe Portland upper yuppy vibe. What more could you ask for? Pros: Train Cons: Service, Prices

This place used to be great. My husband and I have ate here twice in the last year and the meals were so so at best.

Oregon Electric Station is located in downtown Eugene in a very interesting older building. Part of the dining is actually in an old train car. This is a high priced restaurant that features excellent food. The service is attentive and friendly. The lounge in the front of the restaurant is inviting with live music on weekends. more

Eat on a Train! 8/16/2005

Where would children and a romantic couple both like to dine? In a box car of course. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the Oregon Electric caters more to the couple. This establishment is one of the finest and oldest in Eugene and Eugenean voted it having the best appetizers (even though I do not agree). more
