Best

We have been going here for 3 years after being introduced to Oregano's in Phoenix! Pros: Great Pizza Pie Cons: Limited Pkg, Small Venue

This place is okay if you want pizza and some entertaining stuff on the walls to keep your kids busy. But it's definitely not worth a 45 minute wait outside for a table, slow ser...

finally!! 5/19/2004

having moved to tucson recently from the valley of the sun, i was pleasantly surprised, no overwhelmed with joy that there is an oreganos pizza bistro in town. the valley locations are swinging joints. the tucson location is a breath of fresh air as far as pizza, pastas, salads, appetizers, not to mention the world famous pizzacookie. the drinks they offer are very refreshing as well. try the bellini or the margarita. yes the margarita. they just recently added a very flavorful cosmo! the service is upbeat and very friendly. the staff makes you feel very welcome. the food is great. try the thin crust pizza's. as well as the pan pizza and the chicago classic stuffed pizza. overall the dining experience was well worth the long wait. it's a good sign when the place is always on a wait. thank you oreganos for thinking of tucson as a location. Pros: the service, ambiance, the food! Cons: , none more

Best pizza in Tucson 2/5/2004

Having grown up in the Chicago west suburbs,I can tell you that this thin crust pizza tastes the same as the great pizza I remember from there! Prices are reasonable and the attitude of employees is fantastic!I love this place!!! Pros: best pizza, great staff, atmosphere is nice more

Crowded and loud 11/3/2003

This is not the place to go out with someone you are hoping to have a conversation with. It is very loud and crowded. The food was OK. Not quite Italian- more like Americanized Italian- for example, the bruschetta. Portions are large and the value is great. Overall, I feel like it's similar to going to Chili's for Mexican food. It's kind of like chain food and not very true to the Italian culture. Pros: good value Cons: Loud, Crowded more

Drooling just thinking about Oregano's 10/6/2002

Oregano's has the best pizza in town, the choice of toppings are amazing. The appetizers are also good and plentyful. Make sure you save room for dessert, you will not be dissapointed. To avoid a long wait, try to go between lunch and dinner. Pros: Thin Pizza, Dessert, Great Staff Cons: Long Wait, Lack of AC more

Absolutely Excellent! 8/18/2002

FIIIIIIINAAAALLLLYYY! A real Italian restaurant for real Italian Americans. The portions are very large and the quality of the food is superb. Take it from an Italian American guido who grew up on Nonna's cooking. Oregano's e molto marveglioso!! They have everything on their menu and the menus are unique. The restaurant owners put the menu on old record album covers. They serve all sorts of beer and have a great selection of Chianti. Also, they serve the wine properly in traditional home cookin' southern Italian style, not out of fancy flutes or wine glasses. I felt like I was home for the first time in my life here in Arizona. Benissimo Oregano's!! Tony D. Pros: Inexpensive, Good Parking, Enough Seating more

OREGANOS 8/13/2002

GREAT PLACE AND PRICE. FOOD IS VERY GOOD. TOO SMALL, AND WAIT IS TOO LONG. Pros: PIZZA, PRICE, DESSERT Cons: SMALL, LONG WAIT, AIR CONDITIONING more

Pizzariffic! 8/11/2002

Oregano's has the best pizza in town! Thin crust cooked to perfection..Never burned...Classic pizza...the best! Fresh wholesome ingredients, and plenty of them! Pan pizza that melts in your mouth and always some left to take home...Only negative, I wish that the place was bigger...there is always a wait...but the pizza is worth it! Pros: great pizza, great ingredients, friendly service Cons: small building, only one in tucson more
