I've been going to Orchards Vet for several years and I have to disagree with the comment on the front office. The vast majority of ladies in the front office are very professional and helpful. I was there yesterday and I observed the busy front office staff being cordial, professional, and considerate. Don't let one bad apple in the front discourage you from getting the excellent care these doctors and techs offer. I have competition dogs and these vets know how to sleuth out and treat unusual infections and injuries. My old vet in Beaverton charged me $150 for a shot and some pills, including $10 just to put the pills in the bottle. A friend referred me to Orchards Vet, where I took my 3 month old puppy (who was going down hill rapidly) and they jumped into action. They saved my puppy's life when they cultured a bad infection, found out he had a pseudomonas infection (a very aggressive bacteria that responds to only one antibiotic), and took aggressive action, and it cost a lot less than $150. They know how to handle difficult situations (my rescue is terrified of people) and make special arrangements to accommodate difficult situations. Another thing I like is that the doctors are happy to answer questions and give explanations in language that non-medical people can understand.
