Orchardgate Apartments

I have lived here for almost 4 years and have had very few problems. I live in one of the older apts and have had problems getting things fixed, but nothing major. It's a good location and my apt is quiet. I live downstairs and very rarely hear my neighbors. I think the price is great compared to other apt complexes. \r I have never had a problem with bugs and the grass is always mowed regularly and when it snows, the parking lot and sidewalk are promptly cleaned off and salted. \r I would and have recommended these apartments to several people. \r I think I am getting a very good value for the price. more

When we moved into this apartment complex we were promised a laundry mat, paved road, and the buildings finished within three months. It took 21 months for the laundry mat to be finished and the road to be paved. Our building is still unfinished and we have bug problems. The grass behind our building grew to over five feet, and it still took them two weeks to cut it after we requested it. We've been told it will take three days to fix our front door, when a friend in the business told us it shouldn't take more than four to six hours. When we looked at the apartment we were told that the walls were very thick, and you could rarely hear any noise outside your apartment. We hear cars driving by all day long, we can hear people talking outside, the tv's of our neighbors, and other apartments' water kicking on and off. I recommend that people stay away from these apartments unless you want to deal with the above issues and more. more
