Orchard Park Apartments

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!!! \r I am Sooooo glad I moved!! The main manager is rude and either says she cant do anything about anything, or she tells you to call the police on your neighbors instead of doing something about it. Tenants and their kids are running around here being loud at all hours. Literally, that is not a exaggeration. The 2 assistant managers don't seem to know anything and also seem to walk on eggshells around the head manager, so they are no help. \r The grounds are nice, but not when they are covered with trash from the hundreds of unsupervised children that run around here. There are popsicle sticks and wrappers all over the place, McDonalds, and even chicken bones!! These tenants have no respect for anything or anyone. It seems to be mostly section 8 people and no one here seems to work and that's why they are trashy and party all the time. If I had section 8, I would be grateful for it every day! \r \r *The pool is disgusting from all the kids peeing in it.\r \r *The ""laundry Facility"" and ""Gym"" are in the same tiny building, for which they have no key.\r \r *The website says there is no smoking, yet the lease says no smoking within 10 feet of buildings, yet current management lets everyone smoke wherever they want and wont correct anyone even if you tell them its effecting your health. I have been in someone's downstairs unit and you can hear every footstep of the people above you and for some reason the upper level walkway is a wooden deck that sounds like a earthquake when kids are constantly running on it.\r *The apartments themselves are great! And the maintenance staff is great. But that is ruined by super crappy management and really crappy neighbors who are allowed to do anything they want whenever they want. It really does ruin your life while your here. Current management tries to say that it is still bad here because they have only been here since November of 2013. That was quite a while ago, and plenty of time to make people abide by the rules or get the hell out! Why is that so hard? You abide by the lease or you leave! Manager cowers in her apartment and tries to act like nothing is wrong here. Owners seem to need new management again!\r ***I really think the good recent comments on here are faked by management to try to make the place look better. I see the gang activity that others have talked about, drug deals as well. This place is not safe! RUN AWAY! more

I lived here at Orchard Park for two years and loved it. Rebecca, the apartment manager is the best apt manager I have ever encountered. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. She is friendly & efficient. more

We have been looking for not just an apartment for our family but a place we can call home. We found that here at Orchard Park. We just moved in a couple of months ago and the staff here has been so helpful. We are looking forward to the summer so we can use the pool. more

We have lived here going on 2 years. This place has the biggest patios that make it feel like an extra living space. There is a lot of space that our kids can play outside. We would recommend Orchard Park to all of our friends. more

I am loving living at Orchard Park! The new management company has really been great on my move-in. They were really kind and I felt a sense that they really cared that we had a good experience. Everything was in good working order and the carpet had been freshly cleaned. I loved that I was able to bring my own washer and dryer as well. I just wanted people to know that this is a great place to call home. more

I have lived at Orchard Park Apartments for just five months during my review but I totally loved the place. Employees and management are both really wonderful and very helpful. I really liked the location of the apartment because it is so near to groceries, dining establishments, cafes and pubs. The amenities from pool to fitness center are great. During my stay, I had no complains. I'd absolutely recommend this apartment to my friends. The best rental in Salem, OR. more

This place has easy access to everything.. groceries, health and dental care, entertainment, etc. Great scenery, people and neighborhood. We love Orchard Park Apartments. more
