Great place for big dogs 10/17/2010

We've been boarding our dog with this kennel for 5 years now and have been very happy with the service and environment. Your dog MUST be well socialized, and do well in an outdoor, large, fenced space, which is where the social hour takes place. The staff tries very hard to match temperment and physical ability when selecting dogs to socialze together outside. Brach has never come home nervous and upset--this has not been the case when boarding him in other facilities. Brach is a high energy Aussie mix--free running is his thing! more

Fantastic 3/15/2010

We have taken our dog there many times and we love it. Our dog Maggie so enjoys her time there. She seems excited to go back and we feel very comfortable entrusting her care to them. I would highly recommend them to anyone. more

We love takeing are dog there 6/26/2009

I have boarded my dog several times I loved it. When we drop her off she is so excited to go back into the kennel. I would never board her anywhere else. They have a wonderful place and a great staff. We never worry when we are out of town and are dog is with them. more

Best source for specialty foods 8/1/2007

My dog requires a special diet, and Orchard Kennels is the only source in Rochester that provides it---BilJac foods. Their staff is friendly and very accommodating. more

Will not go there again 7/10/2005

We brought our dog there for 10 days. He had never been in a kennel before and they assured us that they would call if anything was wrong. They never called. It seems that they must have been scared to let him outside to do his business. When we picked him up he was matted with his own urine and feces. His blanket was completely stained yellow and they told us it just happened. You can tell if something like that just happened and trust me it was there for awhile. If they would have called us we could have made arrangements to pick him up. PROS: None CONS: Poor communication more

  • Orchard Kennels is an indoor facility built and run by people who love dogs, big dogs. We are located in upstate New York about 10 minutes east of Rochester, NY. We have created a place for big dogs. Saint Bernards, Great Danes, and Newfoundlands will find ample space to lounge on our heated cement floor. All dogs over 35 pounds are welcome. Here at Orchard Kennels, every dog gets to run with the pack, in our large supervised play areas.. We offer boarding,grooming,training. Our retail store offers products,we can honestly recommend.
