what a great experience with cathy. the spa area has ample parking and the spa is spotlessly clean. the staff can not do enough to make your experience wonderful and are successful at it. this is the first time I did not have a clock ticking down the time left and went over what I scheduled just to make the spa experience great. this was the best massage and facial I have ever had (and I have had many!!) the products were great and I was surprised to buy them at a price better than even drug store prices! will definitely be a return customer over and over! more

Disappointed ........ 10/17/2010

Another spa bites the dust!! Came here last year for their spa week specials and again I was disappointed! I got the body wrap, massage and a facial. The massage was good, more therapeutic to treat my sciatica than relaxing but that's ok. The therapist was very professional. The wrap was ok, it was a slimming wrap. Though i'm sure it was all in my head I thought I did lose an inch lol Probably from the water I was losing from the sweat. Ok to the really horrible part. The facial. This to me was the worst because the owner herself gave me this facial. I was at 1st so happy that she would do my facial and the minute she started I was horrified. Her technique was not standard nor professional and she even hurt me but squeezing too hard and she broke some of my capillaries and scarred my nose. I cannot believe how bad this was and she thought she gave me the best facial in the world. Sorry lady maybe you should go back to school. DO not go here it's really not worth the waste of money and the travel. more

The Best Mani & Pedi Ever 10/5/2010

Wow i was so surprized that such a place was in my town!!!!! I had the best Spa Pedi and Mani ever. The maniurist took her time to make sure I happy the whole time. I wish i could remember her name but the massage she gave my feet was out of this world with this yummy sea salt scrub. I have some bad feet from point ballet. Im sure you would never know because he scrubed and got all that died skin off!!!! She educated me on maintaining my mani and pedi for the winter and i enjoyed her fancy french paint job with a twisit. I loved it and I will be back!!!! more

I loved my experience at this spa!!!. From the vey moment I walken in I felt relaxed. The staff is super attentive and experienced. My massage was the best I've ever had. I have previosly visited other spas and they don't compare at all. Orange Skye is deffenetly my top pick!!. I highly recommend this spa to everrone who is looking for some time away from their everyday exhausting routine. more

WHEN I ARRIVED, THE GREETING WAS WARM. THE FIREPLACE WAS ROARING. THE ENTRY ROOM WAS WELL PUT TOGETHER. I ENJOYED THE FOOT BATH SECTION SO CALMING AND PRIVATE. YOU HAD I CHOSE MY BODY MASSAGE WITH BORIS AND IT WAS HEAVENLY...MY FACIAL WITH CATHY WAS GREAT. WHEN I WALKED OUT OF THERE, I WAS FLOATING. I AM MAKING THIS AN EVERY MONTH EXPERIENCE. FINALLY I FOUND SOMEWHERE NEAR MY HOME AND WITH IMPECCABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE SO PERSONABLE. NOT AN ASSEMBLY LINE SERVICE SPA. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR QUICK, RUSH TROUGH SERVICE ...THIS WONT BE IT.!! A SPA PARTY IS WHAT I AM GOING TO TREAT MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO NEXT. more

Okay Experience 5/12/2010

The reason I gave Orange Skye Body and Beauty Bar 3 stars is because when I arrived home after my Swedish massage I felt more pain in my neck/back area than I usually have. I've gotten a Swedish massage at another spa once before and I think it was way better than the one I received today because my body actually felt more relaxed afterward . But I did enjoy the atmosphere. Oh yeah, and I think they should invest in better robes because the ones they have there are kind of scratchy. more

great masage, horrible facial 9/15/2009

Anne the massage therapist was tremenduosly experienced, and had a wonferful touch. The facialist however while very nice was straight out of school, and had no idea what she was doing, especially with extractions. I specifically asked for an extremely experienced esthetician, I get facials all the time and hate to try new places, but wanted to try something local, it was horrible and I wont be back for a facial. i wish I had the massage after the facial, because I left completely unrelaxed, which is too bad because like I said I cant say enough good about the massage. Anne was wonderful. Pros: awesome massage by Anne Cons: Esthetician did not know what she was doing more

I really enjoyed my 1st Spa experience with Orange Skye....I loved it, got all my kinks worked out and now am hooked so I make sure I atleast visit them once a month for some more ME time! more

WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE SPA THE RECEPTIONIST WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL, I WAS OFFERED A BEVERAGE AND USHERED INTO MY ROOM WHERE I WAS GIVEN A ROBE. THE MASSAGE WAS DELIGHTFUL AND I WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND I WILL RETURN FOR OTHER SERVICES. JOB WELL DONE! more

Stopped in on a whimb wasn't expectiing much but was delighted by the beautiful decor and freindly staff. I got one of the best facials and knowledge on how to take care of my skin. i will definitely go there again and also recommend to freinds and family. more

Long wait - not professional 5/3/2009

I've been to numerous spas and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my session. The appointments were all honored. This place did NOT honor my appointment. I waited over 45 minutes. Spas typically are very strict with appt times and respectful of peoples times - not so with this one - at least not with me. Instead of destressing - I was very stressed. more

I have never received a better massage... 7/15/2008

I get massaged regular as a part of my health regimen....I have a very good therapist I go to regular but she was out this week....sooo I went to Orange Skye in Valley Stream .I honestly have to say that I have never received a better massage than the one I received from Porter at the Orange Skye day spa. In the past I tend to go with female therapists for their sensitivities to my needs.....but Wow! what a massage. He really has the magic touch for knowing how to work the tight muscles in my back and legs. I feel better than I have in years. He's a true healer...... Tell him Joanne is spreading his praises... more
