These guys are great. The food is fantastic and they are amazing about handling an order where food allergies are involved. I'm allergic to sugar of all things and if I order some...

best chinese in chicago! 3/14/2008

Service is excellent and always friendly! Food is fresh and hot when picked up and the order is always right (something that many other restaurants don't seem capable of doing for take out orders)! Love love love this place and everything about it! Pros: great food, great service, fast, blockbuster next door Cons: no delivery :( more

One of the best Chinese restaurants on the northside. Best to order online as when you call the phone can ring and ring or be busy (who wants that between you and heaven!) They always accommodate the special instructions left in item selection area. Place is also worth eating at - atmosphere reminds me of the Christmas story. more

Great take out! 11/16/2006

Love Orange Garden. It's a typical Chinese restaurant, not trying to be something it isn't. But they have great Chinese food! The staff is very friendly, and prices are reasonable. I call in on my way home and my order is hot and ready when I pick it up. If I just walk-in, it is right next to a Blockbuster so I can pick up dinner and a movie. Much better than many of the pricey pretentious Chinese food restaurants in the area. Love it. Pros: Great food, unpretentious ambience Cons: don't deliver more

I dream of eggrolls 12/12/2002

Orange Garden. Each and every time I see the ancient facade (I mean this place is old!) I start getting hunger pangs for their eggrolls. These are the BEST eggrolls I've ever had ANYWHERE. I believe they are cooked in peanut oil, which may not be uncommon, but they are always crispy, hot and fresh. Hmmm... I think I know what I'm having for dinner! Pros: Superb Food, Old school, Eggrolls Cons: Closed Monday, Closes too early, Don't deliver more
