I have done business with Peter and Florence Chen at Opus Jewelers for over 20 years. I bought my engagement ring from them, so did my sister, my best friend, her aunt, three work friends and so on. I have a vintage rose gold ring of my grand grandmother. I been looking for good GOOD jeweler for last 3 weeks, read tons of reviews on yelp and visited dozens of jewelers. I needed to resize my ring from size 8 3/4 to size 4 1/2 saving antique markings on the ring and mount a diamond which was bigger than opening in ring. Peter Chen mounted the diamond the way I wanted with little of prongs showing, perfectly matched the color of prongs (rose gold), and invisibly reinforced the ring from inside. The job was done in a week, much faster than other places in Bay Area for unbeatable price. I am very happy with the service, I talked straight with Peter Chen who is jeweler at Opus, he sketched the work he is going to do to preserve my grand grandmother?s ring and securely mount the diamond.
