Options In Home Care

I had never hired a caregiver before, but after my mom broke her hip she was in desperate need of additional help since I live in another state. After her accident I was willing to try anything to keep her safe at home. My mom's caregiver's name was Susan and she did a wonderful job keeping her comfortable. The two hit it off immediately and became fast friends. Susan would arrive everyday around 11am to start preparing a lunch of my mom's choice, which was usually half a turkey sandwich and soup. Those meals were the highlight of my mom's day for several months. Within a short period of time, Susan had my mom well on her way to recovery. Whether Susan was helping my mom onto the couch or sharing a laugh with her, the two of them formed a strong bond. Options In-Home Care eased my mom's transition from the hospital to home and now she that she is fully recovered and walking around she couldn't be happier! more

My mother has severe Alzheimers and she has received nothing but the best care from Options In-Home Care. Mom has had several wonderful caregivers from this agency over the past several years, and her current caregiver has been helping her for over a year. Options In-Home Care has always been there for us, and they have followed through even at the last minute , as well as supporting Mom and our family throughout her numerous hospitalizations and medical crises. We couldnt have asked for a more caring and supportive agency. more

As a result of a pretty bad stroke, Options In-Home Care was hired to care for my brother. The intitial contact with this company was very professional. The staff in the office was particularly helpful with explaining the care which would be provided. It's conveniently located, should the need arise to go into the office. Once the care started, I was thrown back at how helpful the caegiver was. In addidtion to the work she was doing, she was actually a nice companion for him. There were never any worries of dishonesty, nor did any problems ever arise. After seeing the professionalism and people skills this worker had, it appeared as though the training program given at Options In-Home Care was a very thorough one. She was also well groomed. It had not been long since the stroke, and my brother could not do much at all for himself- so it was very relaxing to have a little time off to do other things while being able to trust that he was in good hands. In closing, I would like to re-emphasize that the service was great and professional, the staff was helpful, and the location is very convenient. It is my hope that my brother continues to improve and remain able to care for himself. However, should the need arise, I would definitely go back to Options In-Home Care based on our prior experiences with the company. more

Options In-Home Care provided two different caregivers for my 92 year old mother. Both were wonderful, highly educated and proactive women. They provided wonderful companionship-almost felt like family, and also were proactive and creative about keeping my mother mentally and physically engaged. Michelle, at the office kept me very well informed whenever the caregiver felt my mom was having an off day. Very ethical agency and personnel. Our relationship lasted over a year and a half and only ended when my mother transitioned to live in care. It truly was a blessing to have Options there for my mom in her time of need. more

Very nice clean up Michelle ans Stephanie, my review hit then all of a sudden 6 people signed up and gave great reviews...you are so transparent! This company is not anything they calim to be!! They claim that they do backgraound checks and fingerprints, but they don't!! I had a feeling the caregiver that they sent my mom was fishy and I was right! I did my OWN backgraound check and found out that thier cargiver had been arrested before for ASSULT!!! WTH kind of people was I lettting my my parents home!! That girl had tatttos all over her hands and even her face! She would just come in and say hello, get to doing laundry and talking on her cell phone all day!! I got some information on other employees that they had on thier payroll and they also had records!! This company does not do what they say they do!! Please if you decide to go with this company PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ASK THEM TO DISCLOSE THE BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON THIER STAFF PRIOR TO SIGNING A CONTRACT!!! more

When it came to this agency, there were many things that I did like about it. I loved the fact that with Options, they were able to give my grandmother all of the basic needs taken care of that she needed some help with. The fact that they would not only help her with things that needed to be done around the house, but also the fact that they were also willing to help out with activities that would keep her mind stimulated. During the course of them being with us, there were never any problems at all. The care giver that we had treated my grandmother like she was her own, and after a while she started to become one of the family.
