Great experience through and through at Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint! From the moment I walked in I was engaged in the most positive manor. Happily greeted and then patiently helped through my selection process. Salesperson was very informative and educated with products. The selection here definitely won't disappoint as they surely have something for all styles. Their endless options of eyewear eventually lead to the ideal pair for me. It has been a long time since I have had such AMAZING customer service! I had to switch the lenses in my ray-bans and I had been to a few sunglass stores and specialists to try and get them to fit in. The lenses are the originals to the glasses but for some reason they wouldn't fit. When I walked into Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint, everyone was so friendly, and even though my glasses were a big challenge, a few people in Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint tried to get them to fit. My lenses would still not fit in the glasses frame. So, free of charge, they sent them to their specialist who has the right technology to fit them in!! Now, I have my ray bans back and Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint saved my cost of a new pair!!!!Everyone at the store was extremely helpful and knew me by name! After their help I feel like I have to pay it forward! Next time I need to buy sunglasses I am going to them! more

The people working at the Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint are wonderful. I had gone in for contacts for the first time and they were incredibly patient and helpful. I had a tough time getting them in the first time and I was confused at that time. Staff was really helpful and asked me to come back the next day and took time out of their schedule to sit with me and help me. They were really helpful and took the time needed to make sure i was comfortable and able to use the contacts. more

This is my second experience with Dr. Tisdale, Agnes and Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint and both have really been exceptional. The staff was very welcoming and courteous and Agnes was incredibly friendly, efficient and informative. Dr. Tisdale got the latest equipment in his exam room and had me in and completed the check up very fast but seriously. I think he really enjoys what he does and that makes all the difference. Great frame selection in the store and great experience all around. more

I am so lucky that I found Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint at Dec.2011; I got two pairs glass one in progressive and one in sunglass. Agnes did a good job for suggesting me excellent glasses I got compliment from my co-worker that I looks younger for my new glasses and I feel more comfortable for size and styles fit me. Thanks Agnes and other staff give me the good fit glass within my budget!!! more

From my first phone call, answered by Agnes, to walking out the door with my new ""look younger"" glasses, this was a pleasant experience yet one i had dreaded. Agnes told me an appointment was available right away and the place was only a quick ride away on bart...she greeted me when i got there and turned me over for my prelimanary tests..Then i got seen by Dr. Tisdale, she couldn't have been nicer or left me feeling more properly checked out. Violet got the tough job of helping this procrastinator find the frames and all the discounts that were possibly available from the store and my insurance...glasses ready in two hours, yes, same day. I was so pleased i got new lenses for my sunglasses. The money i came in to spend was met, the staff pleasant, and i look younger. What more you will ask for?? more

Every excellent review of Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is correct! I got my first ever prescription for eyeglasses to wear for computer use only - at other place the options for frames were good, but the prices were ridiculous. So, I called my eyeglass frame guru friend and she said the best place was Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint. Agnes welcomed us with the smile, as soon as we entered and she basically walked me through the process and then left me to my own devices so I could try on a tons of frames. When my husband and I got down to two choices we let her cast the deciding vote. They are now being prepared and I will pick them up next week. No pressure environment, lots of selection, killer prices. Love to buy more eyewear from Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint. more

Truth be told... Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is a great local eyewear store in brooklyn. It is convenient to get to. It's got the hottest selection of eyewear and beats any of the chain stores! For the last few years I have gotten all my eyewear here and the amount of compliments I get on my cool specs are too many to count! Strangers on the subway have approached me, coworkers, family and friends all want to know where they can get my trendy eyewear! In addition to the selection, the staff (Agnes & Violet) is awesome. Dr. Tisdale not only provides a thorough exam but also takes the time to carefully select and offer you the most ""fitting"" frames. Anyone who has looked for frames knows how daunting it can be to choose. Without hesitation, the staff carefully and honestly helps you pick out the best frames for your face and style. They always want to meet your expectations and make your glasses the best accessory you own! You never feel like you've walked out of the store with a bad purchase. Instead you can't wait to go back and pick up your new glasses. I've also gone back to have frames adjusted, tightened, and even had my lenses cleaned like new... and it's all done with a smile. more

Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is the greatest. I walked in ready to treat myself - a single pair of Tiffany frames would be so fabulous, and besides, I needed new glasses anyway and had set aside frame money in my tax free health account. So what if I walked out with two pairs? Are you saying I lack self-control? One plastic tortoise frame and one titanium in blue and gray both the Tiffany frames are Fabulous. I love them. And I love Agnes who is spectacular and welcomed me with open arms all three (3!) times I've been back to have them adjusted. So I'm a little picky? At Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint, they welcome the picky. They want you to be happy - and I want to be happy, a perfect match. By the way - prices are not for the faint of heart - but if you can manage the splurge, it's worth it. more

I love Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint store - everyone that works here is really friendly and helpful. I must've taken up about 2 hours both times I was here before I decided on a pair of sunglasses and they were OK with that. Great selection of eye wear: Rayban, Prada, Bvlgary, etc. Also tons of stylish frames & sunglasses of world-class brands. I think Agnes here is amazing - I bought Bvlgary sunglass, which was ultimately awesome and nice because Agnes helped me to choose that sunglasses. The people who work here are amazing and knowledgeable i realized that at my first visit & now too they are super friendly. The prices are beyond reasonable. If you are looking for a smart, trendy pair of glasses or sunglasses, Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is your spot. more

Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint I LOVE this place. Been coming here for years for contacts and glasses, and even though I no longer work in the area I will continue to do so. Great selection and service. Just the other day they let me in to pick up some contacts, even though they had already been closed for 20 minutes. These folks are SO nice! Very professional and fast. Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is a total gem. Just love this place. Has a great selection of new eyeglasses and sunglasses, and some of these are beautiful. However, I am strictly a Prada frames girl i bought a new one-prada frame from them and i loved it so much. Awesome! I had a great time getting my glasses here...the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the Optometrist was kind as well. I was surprised that the service was so good for the price :) I'll be going back there for my second pair for sure! more

Every time my wife and I walk into Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint, we are greeted with cheers from everyone there. For the last 4 years they have been providing my wife with top-notch eyewear and service and for the last three they have been taking care of me as well. The staff is quick & passionate about eye-care and it shows. The process of picking out frames has become an annual game where everyone, even other customers, gets involved. We look forward to it like it's Christmas. I wouldn't trust these eyes to anyone else on top of that they helped us for insurance made sure I got the best deal with my insurance. more

I've had four eyes for over fifteen years, and Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is the best eye doctor experience that I've ever had. I received excellent service from the minute I entered to the showroom all the way to the minute I walked out the door with my sexy new specs. Dr. Tisdale did everything which can help him to suggest me a new prescription for my new specs.. As a doctor-visit-hater, I really appreciate this. I've never had an eye doctor that was as communicative as Dr. Tisdale This man should facilitate trainings to other on how to provide top-notch bedside manner. He's that good. After my very thorough eye exam, Dr. Tisdale asked me some questions about what I was looking for in my new glasses, and then hand-picked four pairs that met my criteria. I ended up choosing the first pair that Dr. Tisdale picked out for me. Of course. I've never in my life had an eye doctor take the time to help me pick out my glasses. more

Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is a nice place for eyecare products, has a lot of variety of styles -- there were so many things I wanted to try on! Most importantly, though, the service was great. Everyone (Agnes, Violet) in the store was friendly and was good about answering questions and being polite about serving multiple people at the same time. Violet, in particular, was great about trying to understand what kind of style I was looking for and finding me frames that fit that profile. Purchasing the glasses was super easy as well. All in all, all that I could ask for! more

Lets start off with Violet. She is an expert at what she does. She is not only friendly, personable, and knowledgeable...but she'll work with you no matter how annoying you can be. Optical Warehouse NY is great. The staff, glasses options and efficiency. They were honest with prices and did not make any attempt to oversell. I even decided to go back for contacts after selecting my eye glasses, something I never thought I would ever do! but again they never tried to force it as an option so I had time to think about it.
